So many book-hungry people out there! This giveaway hit its 10,000 cap within 24 hours, so we’re already back with a winner. Our book release is officially here! Woo hoo! And we’re celebrating by giving away books this week. But not just our book. Lots o’ books. In fact, some of them will even come signed by some pretty awesome people. Woot! We’ve been gobbling up so many design, decor, and home books lately that we thought it’d be fun to share some of our recent faves from our library. BOOK ME! We have a funky older home that has TONS of built ins in literally every room- even the closets. Sooo…we are never short of places to display our favorite reads- both hard back and the less celebrated magazine variety. Really special books tend to be showcased in the areas of our house less frequented by our 2-year old daughter, Clara. They are often found in the guest room, keeping a favorite family picture company, in the living room bookcases or in our master bedroom on the bed side tables.

i have books EVERYWHERE!! I teach pre-k and have a collection of vintage kids books that somehow evolved into a vintage hymnal and kids books collection which is now a vintage every-kind-of-book collection. And it’s hard to pick a favorites, but the best best BEST ones usually end up on or near the piano!

We moved earlier this year and have a great built-in bookcase/entertainment center in our living room and books are carefully arranged by topic. Some are more for looks (art books) and others (baby/kid books and photo albums) are regularly pulled out.
