I would pick up the Festool Track Saw, which would eat up the entire $500 and we have a bathroom that needs finishing, a bedroom that needs trim, a mudroom that is getting started hopefully this spring, a loft that is going in over the dining room, and then a screened in porch. This is not too mention the sheep barn that is eventually getting built…. but I would love to have that saw, TOOL ME!

I’m pining for a heavy duty paint spray gun thingy (yes that’s the technical term).
I’m hoping that by spraying the horrendous vertical cladding on the outside of our house a more neutral colour, like greay or beige (instead of the weird green it is now) might make our house look less like it is a shed covered in colourbond fencing and more like a house clad with vertical cladding.
Obviously recladding with nice horizontal weatherboard-esque boards is the ultimate dream, but paint will be so much cheaper “for now”. :)
