Fab Freebie: A Splash Of Color

*** This giveaway is now closed – see who won below!***

After quite a color-filled few days here on YHL, random.org has selected our winner as… Daffodil (whose kitchen gets almost zero natural light, so she painted it a cheerful bright yellow). Congrats! And I think we have an idea of what color sink you might be choosing…

Jonathan Adler has been a big inspiration to us lately, especially as we learn to embrace more color in this house than our first one. And as excited as we were by his new color-filled collaboration with Kohler, we were even MORE excited when Kohler agreed to give one of you a new kitchen sink and faucet to the tune of nearly $3,000 in value. So what’ll it be? Do you want the poppy yellow apron sink for your kitchen? A cool aqua double-sink for your basement wet bar? Or maybe a deep single sink in navy? The choice is all yours.

Kohler Jonathan Adler YHL Giveaway

And since a sink isn’t much good without a faucet, Kohler’s gonna let you choose from three of their favorite styles in any available finish: the Purist, the Cruette, or the Simplice. Whatever choice you make, something tells me that doing dishes is going to be a lot cheerier around someone’s house very soon…

Kohler Jonathan Adler YHL Giveaway Faucets

  • PRIZE: A new kitchen sink from the Kohler Colors Featuring Jonathan Adler collection, plus a new faucet. A potential prize value of nearly $3,000!
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “ADLER ME!” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … how are you currently bringing color into your kitchen? Did you pick a bold paint color for the walls? Do you like a vase of fresh flowers on the counter? Or do you often find that the most colorful thing in your kitchen is your latest culinary creation?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, July 25th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of Kohler.

We have green walls in our kitchen. They might have to go if I were lucky enough to win a fun sink though!

ADLER ME!… (those colors are fantastic!)
Our house is almost 100 years old and the kitchen had already been renovated when we bought it two years ago, but it was total Dullsville. Honey cabinets, black/brown granite counters, blah khaki tile backsplash… snooze. There unfortunately isn’t a Let’s Redo The Kitchen! budget right now, but I’ve made & hung bright & cheery cafe curtains (instead of the brown shades that were there) and painted the eat-in area a really nice pea green. Vintage Fiesta & mid-century Japanese dishware are on display (in lime, turquoise, orange & cherry red), along with rows of bright cookbooks. Slowly but surely…

We are new home owners and have chosen bold hues to cheer up a formerly dark house. Our kitchen’s white cabinets and black and white art pop beautifully on the Sunflower yellow painted walls. Even when the sky is gray, our kitchen is always sunny!

ADLER ME! right now our kitchen is a hot mess, with pretty much every color making an appearance. the walls are a terrible brick red and khaki (painted by the previous owners), i have a pink stand mixer, turquoise cookware, and pops of yellow. fortunately it’s all tied together by a rug that happens to have all of these colors. but i would ultimately love to fix what’s going on by repainting and putting up new shelves (inspired by you!).

Wow! This is awesome! You guys ROCK!

I had my sister (who is working on her 2nd Masters Degree at the renowned ceramics school at the University of Montana) create custom ceramic tiles for my backsplash. They’re so colorful and I love that my little sister handcrafted each one herself. It makes me smile everytime I see them. =) She’s a pretty amazing sis to say the least!
