After quite a color-filled few days here on YHL, random.org has selected our winner as… Daffodil (whose kitchen gets almost zero natural light, so she painted it a cheerful bright yellow). Congrats! And I think we have an idea of what color sink you might be choosing…
Jonathan Adler has been a big inspiration to us lately, especially as we learn to embrace more color in this house than our first one. And as excited as we were by his new color-filled collaboration with Kohler, we were even MORE excited when Kohler agreed to give one of you a new kitchen sink and faucet to the tune of nearly $3,000 in value. So what’ll it be? Do you want the poppy yellow apron sink for your kitchen? A cool aqua double-sink for your basement wet bar? Or maybe a deep single sink in navy? The choice is all yours.
And since a sink isn’t much good without a faucet, Kohler’s gonna let you choose from three of their favorite styles in any available finish: the Purist, the Cruette, or the Simplice. Whatever choice you make, something tells me that doing dishes is going to be a lot cheerier around someone’s house very soon…
- PRIZE: A new kitchen sink from the Kohler Colors Featuring Jonathan Adler collection, plus a new faucet. A potential prize value of nearly $3,000!
- TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “ADLER ME!” and tell us…
- BONUS QUESTION: … how are you currently bringing color into your kitchen? Did you pick a bold paint color for the walls? Do you like a vase of fresh flowers on the counter? Or do you often find that the most colorful thing in your kitchen is your latest culinary creation?
- GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, July 25th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
- NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
- PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
- USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…
Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of Kohler.
ADLER ME!
ADLER ME! Although really, my kitchen is not good enough for that sink…right now I have pale green walls because it is what was in the mistint bin when I bought the house. I made a pretty multicolor window treatment though!
ADLER ME!
I have been adding color by adding a colorful pillow here and there or by adding a colorful blanket over the couch.
ADLER ME!
My kitchen needs some color, and hopefully we will be painting the cabinets soon!
Eventually, I want to paint our cabinets white, so a pop of color in the sink would be the best!
ADLER ME! We don’t have color in our kitchen yet… this sink would be a great start!
ADLER ME! To add color: dish towels, flowers, curtains = easy/cheap change!
ADLER ME! We are actually planning on spray painting the yellow gold chandelier that is in our kitchen currently a turquoise color!
Alder me!!
We painted the kitchen a bright color and use muted colors for the accessories, but have a pop of color too in fresh flowers. Nothing better than a new flower arrangement to brighten the mood!

Grays, reds, and browns…
“ADLER ME!” We have a backsplash that is black, blue and tan. We also have some accent walls in blue and red. We have a basic boring sink that our builder put in so a new sink would definitely make the kitchen look better!
oh man!!!! adler me and hook a sista up!
this would be amazing for my kitchen reno in progress!!
ADLER ME!
When we moved into our house it had a pink/black granite back splash that we didn’t like but the more we have lived with it the more we actually like it so we try to bring in complimentary colors in art and dish towels from the back splash to use in our kitchen.
ADLER ME! I have some bright bold towels I got on clearance at Crate & Barrel that I stretched onto a canvas frame and hung on the wall. Such a fun – and cheap! – pop of color!
Adler Me! I’m loving those colored sinks. Our kitchen is pretty neutral right now so it would be a fun pop of color!
Adler Me Please! I live in a ’48 home, so the kitchen is pretty retro. The most colorful aspect is my yellow tiled countertops. :)
ALDER ME! I am constantly baking and creating new goodies so I would say my way of bringing color to the kitchen is to take a photo a my culinary creations before they disappear!
ADLER ME! Our sink, strangely enough, is already blue, but very much worse the wear. My husband and I are in the beginning stages of planning a kitchen remodel, and would love to keep a splash of color in our basin!
ADLER ME!
We have bright mint green walls in our kitchen with red accents throughout. I love color!
adler me!
this summer, we bring color into the kitchen with fresh flowers from the local farmers’ market!
ADLER ME!
Our kitchen is boring white and grey… some color would be great!
Adler me!
I’m not afraid of color in the slightest. Red walls, golden yellow walls, bright pillows….bring it on!
Adler me!
I have a aqua glass tile backsplash and lime green/aqua fabric on my kitchen benches. Both of them make me happy every time I walk in.
Adler Me!! Our kitchen has been the last room to be removated. And so far the only pop of color we have are our brick pavers on the floor.
ADLER ME! We have a pretty sea glass backsplash that would look lovely next to that Palermo Blue sink!
Adler Me!! Our color comes from accessories!!
ADLER ME!! Our kitchen was already colorful when we moved in. The previous owners had painted it yellow!
Adler me!!!! I have added
Color through fun towels and a really fun hanging pendant over the island!
ADLER ME!
Lately I’ve been splashing color with accessories, but am totally ready for some wall color!
ADLER ME!
This would be great inspiration to kick off our kitchen redesign. Our kitchen desperately needs help- totally stuck in 1970.
ADLER ME! We have green walls in the kitchen!
ADLER ME! Only a bold kitchen aid mixer for now :)
“ADLER ME”
We recently remodeled our whole kitchen. We added a new light fixture, an island for much needed storage and a hanging pot rack that is also a light fixture. We replaced all the appliances, painted our cabinets black, updated the countertops, and our walls went from pale yellow to “asparagus” green by valspar. It is a nice bright avocado green. We are accenting the green with pops of orange and yellow. The only thing we didn’t figure into our budget was the expense of a sink!
Adler me! We have added color one the walls…maroon! Love it but hate our cabinets. This might start a kitchen makeover!
ADLER ME!!!
We put up paintings that include splashes of colors as well as have a few blooming plants that we change up every now and then to have a constant evolving color scheme in our kitchen!! I also have colored kitchen accessories such as spatulas that add a nice burst of color next to the stove
Adler me!
I actually have some gorgeous plates with a Moroccan-style bold print that hang in my kitchen. I got them for a steal at Home Goods and they set the whole tone for my decorating inspiration.
Adler me! I have a great rug that mkes our Kitchen look like it belongs with the rest of the house.. The paint job in my opinion was a FAIL– will be re-doing that soon… no one like a mint colored kitchen!
ADLER ME! Our kitchen is a mish-mash of yellow and purple that desperately needs to be updated. The walls will be a bright and sunny yellow, and our white cabinets will be jazzed up with bold green knobs and pulls!
ADLER ME! I painted my kitchen a nice bright yellow. It’s so cheerful, which is terrific, because the kitchen gets almost zero natural light.
Adler me!
My fiesta ware collection is bright yellow and navy blue. The kitchen, soon to be built, will be white cabinets, grey counters and mottled purple slate floors. Should look nice. It does in my mind anyway….
Adler me!
We don’t have a budget for a kitchen reno right now, but we have been adding little tchotchkes in bright colors!
Adler me!
Tomorrow is my birthday so I’m bringing in color with my birthday cake & candles!
ADLER ME!
*This* is how I plan to bring color to my floor-to-ceiling all-white kitchen!
Adler me! We need a kitchen overhaul! Right now are color aspirations are in the dreaming stage. I can’t wait to get rid of the harvest gold laminate counter tops!
ADLER ME!
ADLER ME!
I have a fabric covered magnet board in my tiny kitchen..and a lime green kitchen aid mixer.
ADLER ME!
The kitchen my house came with is original 1950’s – think Betty Draper’s kitchen, its pretty mich a replica of mine – with red linoleum counter tops so my kitchen is pretty colorful to start with. Until the big reno in a few years, I am sticking with red with some yellow and blue and whites as well.
ALDER ME!
I have no color…I need some badly!!
adler me! I have chairs that get repainted often, and dishes I love that are red and yellow!
