Fab Freebie: A Splash Of Color

*** This giveaway is now closed – see who won below!***

After quite a color-filled few days here on YHL, random.org has selected our winner as… Daffodil (whose kitchen gets almost zero natural light, so she painted it a cheerful bright yellow). Congrats! And I think we have an idea of what color sink you might be choosing…

Jonathan Adler has been a big inspiration to us lately, especially as we learn to embrace more color in this house than our first one. And as excited as we were by his new color-filled collaboration with Kohler, we were even MORE excited when Kohler agreed to give one of you a new kitchen sink and faucet to the tune of nearly $3,000 in value. So what’ll it be? Do you want the poppy yellow apron sink for your kitchen? A cool aqua double-sink for your basement wet bar? Or maybe a deep single sink in navy? The choice is all yours.

Kohler Jonathan Adler YHL Giveaway

And since a sink isn’t much good without a faucet, Kohler’s gonna let you choose from three of their favorite styles in any available finish: the Purist, the Cruette, or the Simplice. Whatever choice you make, something tells me that doing dishes is going to be a lot cheerier around someone’s house very soon…

Kohler Jonathan Adler YHL Giveaway Faucets

  • PRIZE: A new kitchen sink from the Kohler Colors Featuring Jonathan Adler collection, plus a new faucet. A potential prize value of nearly $3,000!
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “ADLER ME!” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … how are you currently bringing color into your kitchen? Did you pick a bold paint color for the walls? Do you like a vase of fresh flowers on the counter? Or do you often find that the most colorful thing in your kitchen is your latest culinary creation?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, July 25th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of Kohler.

ADLER ME! My kitchen is a little drab, but one day I’d love a colorful backsplash to switch out some of the beige-ness of that room.

We are about to start a amjor kitchen reno, because as of right now we have NO COLOR in our kitchen. It is mildly dressing, but we knew when we moved in that this house need some TLC, so can’t wait to change it up!

    Adler Me!!!

I love the Picadilly Yellow and the Annapolis Navy. I have been experimenting with color with paint on the walls, but having trouble, I need to figure out how to bring in more light I think. I also have a love for bright and happy dishes like Fiesta ware and vintage glassware from my childhood I have collected from restaurants with the smurfs and other cartoon characters displayed on them. My home is very old and the Kitchen itself is an afterthought. So I could definitely use a bright happy new sink to make being in the hub of my house much more enjoyable!!

…Since I moved into a new construction and it has been recommended I don’t paint for a year, it’s odds and ends, pictures, and bright colored glass bottles that are keeping me away from white overload!

The only color we have in our kitchen now are the dish towels and the occasional flower arrangement. It sounds sad but it is open to the living room which is much more colorful.

ADLER ME!! :) I try to have fresh, inexpensive flowers in a pop of color on a regular basis. Sometimes it’s clippings from our bougainvillea out front which has the most gorgeous hot pink flowers.

I also have splashes of color with various accessories on our counter. The counter top and cabinets are from the 90s so it’s how I give it a more modern feel with color.

ADLER ME! We have plenty of color between the chocolate brown walls, and the antiqued yellow/blue cabinets. However, since it’s a rental and all of that was there before we moved in, we add our own color through the art on the walls, and the fun magnets on the fridge!
