After quite a color-filled few days here on YHL, random.org has selected our winner as… Daffodil (whose kitchen gets almost zero natural light, so she painted it a cheerful bright yellow). Congrats! And I think we have an idea of what color sink you might be choosing…
Jonathan Adler has been a big inspiration to us lately, especially as we learn to embrace more color in this house than our first one. And as excited as we were by his new color-filled collaboration with Kohler, we were even MORE excited when Kohler agreed to give one of you a new kitchen sink and faucet to the tune of nearly $3,000 in value. So what’ll it be? Do you want the poppy yellow apron sink for your kitchen? A cool aqua double-sink for your basement wet bar? Or maybe a deep single sink in navy? The choice is all yours.
And since a sink isn’t much good without a faucet, Kohler’s gonna let you choose from three of their favorite styles in any available finish: the Purist, the Cruette, or the Simplice. Whatever choice you make, something tells me that doing dishes is going to be a lot cheerier around someone’s house very soon…

ADLER ME! Right now we are making plans for a kitchen re-do, and it is going to be a moody olive with pops of black and tan. Sounds really neutral, but we have a polka dot spoon rest with bright dots and a mosaic tabletop under our microwave that has bright green and cobalt colored glass pieces.

Awesome! That green color would go perfectly with my green utensils and tea pot. I also have green dishtowels, serving bowls/platters, etc. The cabinets are dark with very light granite counters. The walls and backsplash are all nuetral tones. Green is my accent color!

We’d love to install a colorful back splash to our kitchen. We also would love to paint out kitchen – we’ve had two different color swatches of paint on a wall in our kitchen for the past year!!! We haven’t found THE color yet, but this could definitely help us!

Awesome giveaway! My husband and I just bought a new home – I loved it so much right away because it reminded us of yours and John’s current home – great bones and space, with plenty of areas for updating to make it our own. Only living in our new abode for two months, we have LOTS of remodels to do. We just bought our first house and the kitchen will need some brightening up, & updating. Our dishes are teal with touches of sage green & smaller plates that are a brighter green. We’re bringing in the brights with our accents- fresh flowers in the window, a poppy colored rug on the floor, and a bright yellow flying pig in the breakfast nook.
