Fab Freebie: A Splash Of Color

*** This giveaway is now closed – see who won below!***

After quite a color-filled few days here on YHL, random.org has selected our winner as… Daffodil (whose kitchen gets almost zero natural light, so she painted it a cheerful bright yellow). Congrats! And I think we have an idea of what color sink you might be choosing…

Jonathan Adler has been a big inspiration to us lately, especially as we learn to embrace more color in this house than our first one. And as excited as we were by his new color-filled collaboration with Kohler, we were even MORE excited when Kohler agreed to give one of you a new kitchen sink and faucet to the tune of nearly $3,000 in value. So what’ll it be? Do you want the poppy yellow apron sink for your kitchen? A cool aqua double-sink for your basement wet bar? Or maybe a deep single sink in navy? The choice is all yours.

Kohler Jonathan Adler YHL Giveaway

And since a sink isn’t much good without a faucet, Kohler’s gonna let you choose from three of their favorite styles in any available finish: the Purist, the Cruette, or the Simplice. Whatever choice you make, something tells me that doing dishes is going to be a lot cheerier around someone’s house very soon…

Kohler Jonathan Adler YHL Giveaway Faucets

  • PRIZE: A new kitchen sink from the Kohler Colors Featuring Jonathan Adler collection, plus a new faucet. A potential prize value of nearly $3,000!
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “ADLER ME!” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … how are you currently bringing color into your kitchen? Did you pick a bold paint color for the walls? Do you like a vase of fresh flowers on the counter? Or do you often find that the most colorful thing in your kitchen is your latest culinary creation?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, July 25th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of Kohler.

ADLER ME! I think a red sink would really jazz up our 60’ish year old laundry room that has no style whatsoever beyond function. Our current kitchen has a pop of color going on already with gold walls & art accents.

    ADLER ME!!!!!!!

I’ve lately been into the color turquoise. I have been spreading it around the kitchen and adjoining dining room with accessories and curtains! We have lived in our house for a year and I haven’t repainted those rooms yet, so the accessories help the existing horrid wall color!

ADLER ME! We painted our kitchen red to go with our brownish countertop and floor. For fun I have some olive green accents that really pop without looking too much like Christmas. However, I have some very serious dreams of adding a new backsplash and countertops and painting the cabinets to freshen everything up a bit. I’m trying to convince my fiance to let that be my next project after our wedding. Fingers crossed he says yes!

“ADLER ME” I currently have very little color in my mostly white kitchen. I have a navy kitchenaid mixer if that counts :) My kitchen is in dire need of a full makeover and these products would be fabulous. There is nothing worse than an all white kitchen with a small child :)

I prefer a white kitchen with muted colors where the food is the star, but I bring seasonal color in with a pretty plate on display. Iota easy to change with my mood.

Currently the color in our kitchen is through the walls- they’re a very light mint green. I do have dreams of painting our cabinets though… someday! Maybe a new sink would be the motivation we need!! :)

We collect Jadeite and have it displayed our collection in the dinning room. So when it came time to paint the kitchen, we went Jadeite green all over the walls to bring our favorite color all around us.

We NEED to redo our kitchen in the worst way. The plan is for deep brown uppers and lowers with a nice “grellow” on the walls (probably a pinch greener than yours actually…). This could be the kick in the pants we need!

    ADLER ME!

We are actually going to be painting our kitchen (new house) this week! My boyfriend picked out Sherwin Williams Heart of Palm, which is a greenish color. The lower cabinets are going to be a dark grey, a charcoal, I think. And the upper cabinets will probably be a shade of white, any suggestions!? The door trim and window trims will be white. Our sink is tiny, outdated, and needs a redo. One of these sinks would be amazing and bring so much life to the kitchen! Thanks for doing this!

I have brought in color with paint and my small appliances. I love how many colors you can find now for mixers and such! I am a big fan of red accents so that’s the avenue I’ve chosen. Since we live in a rental house this is the most bang for my buck. I did however, paint the walls a grey/green hue that I am in LOVE with! It’s amazing how different simple changes like paint and your own accessories can have on a home. It really makes it mine!

PS: and since we’ll be buying a house soon, I would love, Love, LOVE this prize!
