Fab Freebie: A Splash Of Color

*** This giveaway is now closed – see who won below!***

After quite a color-filled few days here on YHL, random.org has selected our winner as… Daffodil (whose kitchen gets almost zero natural light, so she painted it a cheerful bright yellow). Congrats! And I think we have an idea of what color sink you might be choosing…

Jonathan Adler has been a big inspiration to us lately, especially as we learn to embrace more color in this house than our first one. And as excited as we were by his new color-filled collaboration with Kohler, we were even MORE excited when Kohler agreed to give one of you a new kitchen sink and faucet to the tune of nearly $3,000 in value. So what’ll it be? Do you want the poppy yellow apron sink for your kitchen? A cool aqua double-sink for your basement wet bar? Or maybe a deep single sink in navy? The choice is all yours.

Kohler Jonathan Adler YHL Giveaway

And since a sink isn’t much good without a faucet, Kohler’s gonna let you choose from three of their favorite styles in any available finish: the Purist, the Cruette, or the Simplice. Whatever choice you make, something tells me that doing dishes is going to be a lot cheerier around someone’s house very soon…

Kohler Jonathan Adler YHL Giveaway Faucets

  • PRIZE: A new kitchen sink from the Kohler Colors Featuring Jonathan Adler collection, plus a new faucet. A potential prize value of nearly $3,000!
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “ADLER ME!” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … how are you currently bringing color into your kitchen? Did you pick a bold paint color for the walls? Do you like a vase of fresh flowers on the counter? Or do you often find that the most colorful thing in your kitchen is your latest culinary creation?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, July 25th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of Kohler.

    ADLER ME!

    I just love those sinks!
My kitchen is all white and blue and wooden, but I like to bring color with dishes. I have them on the counter, on the walls, on the shelves. It’s maybe turning into a problem…. :)

I knew Kohler had some good stuff, but the sinks are just amazing! Our kitchen doesn’t have much color in it now, but my previous house did with Granny Apple green walls- very cheery to cook in. Would love to spruce up what we have with one of these :)

    ALDER ME!

I bought some red and white striped rugs to add some color to my kitchen. Our kitchen, dining and living room are pretty much one open space, so it is hard to add color that you like to see all the way through!

    ADLER ME!

Our kitchen is on the long list of to-do’s in our house but I did paint the kitchen bright yellow! Like the your high chair yellow. It goes so well with the green laminate countertops because I thought it would be great to have a John Deere kitchen to bring in my family (my dad is a farmer). Plus, I have a lot of Shamrock FiestaWare and my yellow KitchenAide stand mixer! Thanks! So jelly over your kitchen remodel!

ADLER ME! He is one of my most favorite designers! My kitchen is probably way too colorful for anyone’s taste but my own. We have a vintage red formica table, nook seating that has insanely yellow seats, a chandelier with beads in every color you can think of, and soon, over 20 bright green cabinet doors with knobs I will personally make using pinback buttons we picked out. It’s definitely not bland.

Our kitchen color is a very ugly shade of pastel green… which I loved for a minute back when we painted 2 years ago. Now it reminds me of a hospital color from a scary movie.

ADLER ME! Geez, you have the best giveaways! Oh, my the kitchen…the walls and counters and cabinets are very neutral (read BORING). I’ve been adding color with accessories: counter top items, kitchen chairs I painted a pretty teal, flowers, etc… But I need a new faucet and sink (How did you know?!), and though I’d never thought of a sink in a color other than white, why not?!

I’m wishing and hoping and praying (yes…the song from My Best Friend’s wedding) that we get the house we’ve been waiting on for nearly a year now so I can bring some color into that kitchen. With a baby due in 5 weeks I’M STRESSSING TO THE MAX about everything right now and for one simple thing (like our house) to finally fall into place would be a miracle! Send me some prayers!! PLEASE

We’re closing on our first house at the end of August and can’t wait to experiment with color when we move! Right now, the house has a dark green dated counter which I can’t wait replace with something a little more “us”. A colorful sink would help :)

I’m in the process of buying my first house (a good bones fixer upper) and this would be so amazing to help reno my kitchen!!!! Right now it has red walls and sapphire countertops- EEK! Since countertops are so expensive, I think I am going to paint the room a light grey or a light blue- something light and airy. I’m in love with those sinks and we need a new kitchen faucet!!!!!
