Fab Freebie: A Splash Of Color

*** This giveaway is now closed – see who won below!***

After quite a color-filled few days here on YHL, random.org has selected our winner as… Daffodil (whose kitchen gets almost zero natural light, so she painted it a cheerful bright yellow). Congrats! And I think we have an idea of what color sink you might be choosing…

Jonathan Adler has been a big inspiration to us lately, especially as we learn to embrace more color in this house than our first one. And as excited as we were by his new color-filled collaboration with Kohler, we were even MORE excited when Kohler agreed to give one of you a new kitchen sink and faucet to the tune of nearly $3,000 in value. So what’ll it be? Do you want the poppy yellow apron sink for your kitchen? A cool aqua double-sink for your basement wet bar? Or maybe a deep single sink in navy? The choice is all yours.

Kohler Jonathan Adler YHL Giveaway

And since a sink isn’t much good without a faucet, Kohler’s gonna let you choose from three of their favorite styles in any available finish: the Purist, the Cruette, or the Simplice. Whatever choice you make, something tells me that doing dishes is going to be a lot cheerier around someone’s house very soon…

Kohler Jonathan Adler YHL Giveaway Faucets

  • PRIZE: A new kitchen sink from the Kohler Colors Featuring Jonathan Adler collection, plus a new faucet. A potential prize value of nearly $3,000!
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “ADLER ME!” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … how are you currently bringing color into your kitchen? Did you pick a bold paint color for the walls? Do you like a vase of fresh flowers on the counter? Or do you often find that the most colorful thing in your kitchen is your latest culinary creation?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, July 25th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of Kohler.

ADLER ME!!! I have white appliances and white cupboards. The color in my kitchen comes from a bright teal collander which holds clementines and lemons as well as a little mosaic of a volcano that I picked up in Costa Rica. I could love a Riverby sink with a Simplice faucet.

We painted our walls this odd olive/grey color–it makes it harder to pin down when the light changes throughout the day. Anyway, I just scavenged a fabulous orange planter from my mom that looks great against the walls–I can’t wait to add more pops of vivid color!

The kitchen was the first room in our house to get a new color 2 years ago. It’s Goldenrod (by Glidden, I believe). We went with white cabinets and dishes and green decorative accents. I plan to do another makeover in the near future since it’s the easiest room in the house to repaint (very little wall space) and swap out decor!

We are starting to build our new house in September. These Kohler products would be an awesome addition! Love the sink colors and the faucets! They would certainly make an impact. My only real color right now is in the vases displayed on my countertop.

When we first moved into our house the kitchen was really light (light green walls, white cupboards and appliances, white and very light grey counter tops). We recently painted the walls a tan/mocha color (which makes the white cupboards really pop) and brought in color with curtains and other bowls/small appliances that sit on the counter.

ADLER ME!-Our kitchen is a mixture of reds and browns! I know…boring. We add color with a variety of weekly fruits from the local farmers’ market into our fruit bowl and always purchase flowers every few days to add a pop of color. I guess I should be planting and picking my own flowers, but they look so good when they are already arranged. :)

ADLER ME! I’m a neutral girl, through and through. But in the last year, I brought a pop of green in a few different shades into my kitchen. Even though we’ll be moving soon, I plan to keep the same color scheme in the new house. A new sink in the Greenwich green would be so fun as a housewarming gift!

Right now our kitchen is white & beige….boring! I am wanting to bring a nautical theme to it, and I know that sounds even more boring but I swear it’ll be cute! I want to add red & white stripes, and pretty blues. One day it’ll get there. Also, we have black appliances I would like to replace to stainless steel for a less “in your face!” look. :)
