Fab Freebie: A Splash Of Color

*** This giveaway is now closed – see who won below!***

After quite a color-filled few days here on YHL, random.org has selected our winner as… Daffodil (whose kitchen gets almost zero natural light, so she painted it a cheerful bright yellow). Congrats! And I think we have an idea of what color sink you might be choosing…

Jonathan Adler has been a big inspiration to us lately, especially as we learn to embrace more color in this house than our first one. And as excited as we were by his new color-filled collaboration with Kohler, we were even MORE excited when Kohler agreed to give one of you a new kitchen sink and faucet to the tune of nearly $3,000 in value. So what’ll it be? Do you want the poppy yellow apron sink for your kitchen? A cool aqua double-sink for your basement wet bar? Or maybe a deep single sink in navy? The choice is all yours.

Kohler Jonathan Adler YHL Giveaway

And since a sink isn’t much good without a faucet, Kohler’s gonna let you choose from three of their favorite styles in any available finish: the Purist, the Cruette, or the Simplice. Whatever choice you make, something tells me that doing dishes is going to be a lot cheerier around someone’s house very soon…

Kohler Jonathan Adler YHL Giveaway Faucets

  • PRIZE: A new kitchen sink from the Kohler Colors Featuring Jonathan Adler collection, plus a new faucet. A potential prize value of nearly $3,000!
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “ADLER ME!” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … how are you currently bringing color into your kitchen? Did you pick a bold paint color for the walls? Do you like a vase of fresh flowers on the counter? Or do you often find that the most colorful thing in your kitchen is your latest culinary creation?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, July 25th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of Kohler.

Adler me! I mistakenly painted the ceiling a lighter version of the wall color. It would probably work in a room with more natural light, but we only have one window. Oops! :)

    ADLER ME!

Not being able to afford to redo the kitchen, I’ve brightened it up with robin’s egg blue paint on the walls and a $5 roll of contact paper with cute blue and brown dots (that look a bit like penny tile) for a backsplash. My turquoise-y dishes bring in more color too.

ADLER ME! We are renting so I haven’t added much color in the way of decor besides an apple green rug. But I do cook on a daily basis and HATE cleaning up after myself. A cheery colorful sink would definitely put a smile on my face as I did the dirty work!

My kitchen is pretty neutral, so I can interchange different pops of color. light gray walls, solid white countertops, light gray tile. Pops of color include yellow, green, blue, and orange! How cool would a yellow sink look against my ALL white countertops…? LOVIN IT!

    ADLER ME!

I painted my kitchen cabinets before even moving into the house, and now the doors are all an egg yolk yellow (I painted the cabinet boxes white). I love how bright and cheery it is, and how it pops off the grey walls.

ADLER me!!! Well right now, I have some of my kids’ paintings hanging on the walls for color. We just moved in and I haven’t had a chance to add color to this room. Our tile is brown and our cabinets are black…I’m having a tough time deciding which direction to go, but I NEEEEEED a new sink and faucet. These are awesome!

WOW! Those sinks are absolutely amazing! Those colors are so vibrant and refreshing! I have an older kitchen that we are hoping to remodel soon. Its sorta the country blue color right now so adding color is a must. How I do that is with adding colorful fuits in my fruit bowls and zesty kitchen towels to hang on my stove to add that zing of color splash. I would DIE to win this givaway! Good luck to you all!!!!

This sink and faucet would be going into a kitchen that is currently without walls (I guess that makes it all tan wood-colored), so the sky is the limit in adding color in the future.

When we bought our house the kitchen was a bunch of taupe and dirty-mustard! We painted the cabinets crisp white, installed butcher block counter top and then embraced color on the walls with a vintagey tourquoise! We use art and fun dishes/accessories with Reds and blues for pops of color all around. A colorful sink would be a much appreciated update!
