Fab Freebie: A Splash Of Color

*** This giveaway is now closed – see who won below!***

After quite a color-filled few days here on YHL, random.org has selected our winner as… Daffodil (whose kitchen gets almost zero natural light, so she painted it a cheerful bright yellow). Congrats! And I think we have an idea of what color sink you might be choosing…

Jonathan Adler has been a big inspiration to us lately, especially as we learn to embrace more color in this house than our first one. And as excited as we were by his new color-filled collaboration with Kohler, we were even MORE excited when Kohler agreed to give one of you a new kitchen sink and faucet to the tune of nearly $3,000 in value. So what’ll it be? Do you want the poppy yellow apron sink for your kitchen? A cool aqua double-sink for your basement wet bar? Or maybe a deep single sink in navy? The choice is all yours.

Kohler Jonathan Adler YHL Giveaway

And since a sink isn’t much good without a faucet, Kohler’s gonna let you choose from three of their favorite styles in any available finish: the Purist, the Cruette, or the Simplice. Whatever choice you make, something tells me that doing dishes is going to be a lot cheerier around someone’s house very soon…

Kohler Jonathan Adler YHL Giveaway Faucets

  • PRIZE: A new kitchen sink from the Kohler Colors Featuring Jonathan Adler collection, plus a new faucet. A potential prize value of nearly $3,000!
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “ADLER ME!” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … how are you currently bringing color into your kitchen? Did you pick a bold paint color for the walls? Do you like a vase of fresh flowers on the counter? Or do you often find that the most colorful thing in your kitchen is your latest culinary creation?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, July 25th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of Kohler.

ADLER ME!! We don’t have a house yet(still in the process of hunting for the perfect place!) but we are leaning towards a lighter pallete on the walls and putting color in rooms with accessories, etc. Your home is definitely an inspiration!! (PS- Le Creuset is my favorite for adding color in the kitchen!)

My fiance and I are closing TODAY on our first condo!!! The kitchen is open to the living room and dining area space and we’re hoping to go grey with accents of yellow and orange. I’ve been reading your blog for years; we’re so excited to own our first home and put all the ideas we’ve been bubbling over with for years into practice!

    “ADLER ME!”

Right now our kitchen has a lot of wall space and that is all green, but we are acutally struggling with how to bring in color when we remodel the whole thing this fall since we’ll have cabinet to the ceiling and a neutral backsplash the blank walls will now have cabinets too.

Unfortunately, the only color in our kitchen (aside from our culinary creations) comes from our dated orange-yellow oak cabinets and grey-purple laminate counters. Blah! Thanks to your kitchen makeover though, we have been inspired to redo our cabinets and paint them a nice white-tone, and hopefully new counters will follow suit. A colorful new sink and a faucet that works correctly would be amazing! Haha.
