Fab Freebie: A Splash Of Color

*** This giveaway is now closed – see who won below!***

After quite a color-filled few days here on YHL, random.org has selected our winner as… Daffodil (whose kitchen gets almost zero natural light, so she painted it a cheerful bright yellow). Congrats! And I think we have an idea of what color sink you might be choosing…

Jonathan Adler has been a big inspiration to us lately, especially as we learn to embrace more color in this house than our first one. And as excited as we were by his new color-filled collaboration with Kohler, we were even MORE excited when Kohler agreed to give one of you a new kitchen sink and faucet to the tune of nearly $3,000 in value. So what’ll it be? Do you want the poppy yellow apron sink for your kitchen? A cool aqua double-sink for your basement wet bar? Or maybe a deep single sink in navy? The choice is all yours.

Kohler Jonathan Adler YHL Giveaway

And since a sink isn’t much good without a faucet, Kohler’s gonna let you choose from three of their favorite styles in any available finish: the Purist, the Cruette, or the Simplice. Whatever choice you make, something tells me that doing dishes is going to be a lot cheerier around someone’s house very soon…

Kohler Jonathan Adler YHL Giveaway Faucets

  • PRIZE: A new kitchen sink from the Kohler Colors Featuring Jonathan Adler collection, plus a new faucet. A potential prize value of nearly $3,000!
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “ADLER ME!” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … how are you currently bringing color into your kitchen? Did you pick a bold paint color for the walls? Do you like a vase of fresh flowers on the counter? Or do you often find that the most colorful thing in your kitchen is your latest culinary creation?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, July 25th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of Kohler.

We move to our FIRST HOUSE on Saturday (!!), and I plan on bringing in color with accessories mostly… towels, pots, pans, cups, etc. That way, we can change out our things without having to do a kitchen overhaul when we’re bored :)

The most colorful thing in my kitchen currently is the wallpaper…but it is in the process of coming down… this giveaway would be perfect for me because I am wanting to redo my kitchen and need to pick a color direction.

ADLER ME! I bring in color however I can, though to be honest I am terrified of color and the choices I make sometimes need to be reversed. So it is rare I make bold choices.

    Adler me baby! ;-)

Our kitchen is all white, desperately needs a total redo, but that’s not in the budget yet (a new sink would help…) I’m in the process of deciding on a light warm grey to give the walls some contrast against the cupboards, then will add pops of color. I’m loving those Adler colors!!!!!

I currently bring color into the kitchen through DIY Roman shades, rugs, and artwork we bought on our honeymoon in Hawaii. But we start construction on a new home in a little over a month and I’ll be looking at all new ways to incorporate color–and one of these sinks would be fabulous!

this is so great! currently, we are living with a 1970’s “harvest gold” kitchen sink (which matches the counters, stove & fridge) so the goal at the moment is to tone down the color. but we are planning a remodel, so your timing couldn’t be better! then i’m dreaming of medium toned bamboo cabinets, gray counters, and splashes of color from my vintage pyrex collection!
