Fab Freebie: A Splash Of Color

*** This giveaway is now closed – see who won below!***

After quite a color-filled few days here on YHL, random.org has selected our winner as… Daffodil (whose kitchen gets almost zero natural light, so she painted it a cheerful bright yellow). Congrats! And I think we have an idea of what color sink you might be choosing…

Jonathan Adler has been a big inspiration to us lately, especially as we learn to embrace more color in this house than our first one. And as excited as we were by his new color-filled collaboration with Kohler, we were even MORE excited when Kohler agreed to give one of you a new kitchen sink and faucet to the tune of nearly $3,000 in value. So what’ll it be? Do you want the poppy yellow apron sink for your kitchen? A cool aqua double-sink for your basement wet bar? Or maybe a deep single sink in navy? The choice is all yours.

Kohler Jonathan Adler YHL Giveaway

And since a sink isn’t much good without a faucet, Kohler’s gonna let you choose from three of their favorite styles in any available finish: the Purist, the Cruette, or the Simplice. Whatever choice you make, something tells me that doing dishes is going to be a lot cheerier around someone’s house very soon…

Kohler Jonathan Adler YHL Giveaway Faucets

  • PRIZE: A new kitchen sink from the Kohler Colors Featuring Jonathan Adler collection, plus a new faucet. A potential prize value of nearly $3,000!
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “ADLER ME!” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … how are you currently bringing color into your kitchen? Did you pick a bold paint color for the walls? Do you like a vase of fresh flowers on the counter? Or do you often find that the most colorful thing in your kitchen is your latest culinary creation?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, July 25th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of Kohler.

Right now the color is injected by a large (and I mean HUGE) eggplant Crate and Barrel bowl (the inside is mustard yellow). I would LOVE the color to be from this sink though! How amazing!!!!!

ADLER ME! Our cabinets are white, so we’ve added a few bright pops of color via accessories: a bold red rug, dish towel and oven mitts. A new sink could definitely add to the mix!

I had no idea they made these types of sinks! So much fun! Me and my fiance love color so we knew when we painted it we had to pick a color that would let us accessorize with color! We have a dark grey color on the walls that make our white cabinets pop! We chose exposed shelving so we could display all our unique colorful kitchen finds! It’s so very vintagy modern :)

ADLER ME! I NEED color! When I decorated my kitchen a few years ago, I was in love with brown, ugh. Not that brown can’t be gorgeous in the right application with the right complimentary colors, BUT mine…is not and does not have. So right now I spruce things up pops of color via kitchen towels and entertainment dishes. We are in the process of building, however, and our new kitchen is modern with (no brown and) dark cabinets, almost white quartz thick counterops, and POPS of teal and blue!!!

My old kitchen was full of color…vintage Mexican tile accents (hand painted blue and yellow). My kitchen diva (a print of girl licking a pink sugar skull) hanging at the sink with a bright yellow back drop. Pops of yellow ceramic bakeware living on the open shelves above the sink.

My new kitchen is drab in comparison, but at least my appliances are full sized and brand new.

I just moved and right now I don’t have much color in the kitchen, besides the hand me down blue paint that was there from the previous owners. It has got to go soon and I plan to put a few shelves up to start stacking my bright, multi colored dishes and baking utensils.

My husband and I just bought and remodeled a home that was built in 1968. The previous owners had painted just about everything in the house white to sell it. The kitchen cabinets are all painted white as well, so I added color to the kitchen by painting the walls a seafoam-y bluegreen color. It really adds a lot of pop to the kitchen and makes it feel bright and fresh. I would love to add a new sink and faucet fixture to go along with the new paint!

Our kitchen is mostly white (like yours) but we use color in the blue tile backsplash and because it’s a little dark and has no window, i use colorful lamps, i love the look of a bright yellow or orange desk lamp in the kitchen. It doesn’t really belong there but it’s unexpected and gives my kitchen character.
