Fab Freebie: A Splash Of Color

*** This giveaway is now closed – see who won below!***

After quite a color-filled few days here on YHL, random.org has selected our winner as… Daffodil (whose kitchen gets almost zero natural light, so she painted it a cheerful bright yellow). Congrats! And I think we have an idea of what color sink you might be choosing…

Jonathan Adler has been a big inspiration to us lately, especially as we learn to embrace more color in this house than our first one. And as excited as we were by his new color-filled collaboration with Kohler, we were even MORE excited when Kohler agreed to give one of you a new kitchen sink and faucet to the tune of nearly $3,000 in value. So what’ll it be? Do you want the poppy yellow apron sink for your kitchen? A cool aqua double-sink for your basement wet bar? Or maybe a deep single sink in navy? The choice is all yours.

Kohler Jonathan Adler YHL Giveaway

And since a sink isn’t much good without a faucet, Kohler’s gonna let you choose from three of their favorite styles in any available finish: the Purist, the Cruette, or the Simplice. Whatever choice you make, something tells me that doing dishes is going to be a lot cheerier around someone’s house very soon…

Kohler Jonathan Adler YHL Giveaway Faucets

  • PRIZE: A new kitchen sink from the Kohler Colors Featuring Jonathan Adler collection, plus a new faucet. A potential prize value of nearly $3,000!
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “ADLER ME!” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … how are you currently bringing color into your kitchen? Did you pick a bold paint color for the walls? Do you like a vase of fresh flowers on the counter? Or do you often find that the most colorful thing in your kitchen is your latest culinary creation?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, July 25th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of Kohler.

    ALDER ME!

Doors off cabinets with colorful dishes peeking out and red kitchen aid mixer. Been living for 2 years with hideous floral backsplash and tile counters. Inspired by your rework of your kitchen to keep the things that work and replace only what doesn’t.

Love your blog. I’ve been following for a year and would you believe first time I’ve commented. Keep it up!

I have a light blue accent wall in my kitchen that goes perfectly with the light blue curtains across the living room. They are directly opposite each other, and make me happy!

    ADLER ME!!!

I am closing on a new 1954 ranch in about 30 days! I plan to add color to my kitchen with a new RED coffee maker and toaster which I ordered online today. Gotta put a pop of color in every room – that’s my motto. I also definitely need to update the boring 1950’s bathroom so maybe a new color bowl would be AWESOME. I have brand new MELON colored towels ready to put in that bath.
    Pick me!!! Pick me!!! :o)

    ADLER ME!

We recently painted our kitchen’s red walls (NOT our color choice) a sort of artichoke green color (similar to the color in your kitchen), and we’re in the process of painting our oak cabinets white. It’s starting to come together, and I think it’s going to look great!

We just moved into our 1931 house which has an adorable black and white kitchen. We’d love to bring in some more color but right now we’re settling for just some towels and a rug.

Beyond ready to spice up my kitchen! Currently bringing in color with dish towels and fresh flower from the garden, all arranged (ofcourse) around our Black Lab (she has found the air vent in our kitchen baseboard) who claims the kitchen in the summer months! I’m thinking Picadilly Yellow and Black (Lab) would be a perfect match.
