Fab Freebie: A Splash Of Color

*** This giveaway is now closed – see who won below!***

After quite a color-filled few days here on YHL, random.org has selected our winner as… Daffodil (whose kitchen gets almost zero natural light, so she painted it a cheerful bright yellow). Congrats! And I think we have an idea of what color sink you might be choosing…

Jonathan Adler has been a big inspiration to us lately, especially as we learn to embrace more color in this house than our first one. And as excited as we were by his new color-filled collaboration with Kohler, we were even MORE excited when Kohler agreed to give one of you a new kitchen sink and faucet to the tune of nearly $3,000 in value. So what’ll it be? Do you want the poppy yellow apron sink for your kitchen? A cool aqua double-sink for your basement wet bar? Or maybe a deep single sink in navy? The choice is all yours.

Kohler Jonathan Adler YHL Giveaway

And since a sink isn’t much good without a faucet, Kohler’s gonna let you choose from three of their favorite styles in any available finish: the Purist, the Cruette, or the Simplice. Whatever choice you make, something tells me that doing dishes is going to be a lot cheerier around someone’s house very soon…

Kohler Jonathan Adler YHL Giveaway Faucets

  • PRIZE: A new kitchen sink from the Kohler Colors Featuring Jonathan Adler collection, plus a new faucet. A potential prize value of nearly $3,000!
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “ADLER ME!” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … how are you currently bringing color into your kitchen? Did you pick a bold paint color for the walls? Do you like a vase of fresh flowers on the counter? Or do you often find that the most colorful thing in your kitchen is your latest culinary creation?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, July 25th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of Kohler.

ADLER ME! We boldly chose an orange color to paint over our kitchen panelling, but quickly realized it felt way too much like a basketball. So, we went with a deep yellow instead.

ADLER ME! Great timing for this! We have a stainless steel, white, and gray kitchen. The interior doors (including the kitchen door to the deck) are going black! Once that is done, the only thing left for the kitchen is the counter top and the sink which is where we’re hoping for color. A palermo blue sink would look great with the vintage blue/green mason jar pendant light I just put above it.

    ADLER ME!

I recently added some color to the kitchen with some Fiestaware dishes. I bought enough sets for 12 people in dark brown, peacock blue, ivory and cobalt blue. I had a slight panic attack when I bought them since I have always had all white dishes, but I couldn’t be happier!

    Holy smokes, ALDER ME!

I want do to a horizontal moss green glass tile backsplash, but I don’t want to spend the effort on that until I can replace the awful (to see and use…it’s pretty beaten up), laminate countertops. This sink-and-faucet combination would be PERFECT. When I do new countertops, I would need a bright, beautiful, new cheery sink and faucet!

    Fingers crossed…
