Fab Freebie: A Splash Of Color

*** This giveaway is now closed – see who won below!***

After quite a color-filled few days here on YHL, random.org has selected our winner as… Daffodil (whose kitchen gets almost zero natural light, so she painted it a cheerful bright yellow). Congrats! And I think we have an idea of what color sink you might be choosing…

Jonathan Adler has been a big inspiration to us lately, especially as we learn to embrace more color in this house than our first one. And as excited as we were by his new color-filled collaboration with Kohler, we were even MORE excited when Kohler agreed to give one of you a new kitchen sink and faucet to the tune of nearly $3,000 in value. So what’ll it be? Do you want the poppy yellow apron sink for your kitchen? A cool aqua double-sink for your basement wet bar? Or maybe a deep single sink in navy? The choice is all yours.

Kohler Jonathan Adler YHL Giveaway

And since a sink isn’t much good without a faucet, Kohler’s gonna let you choose from three of their favorite styles in any available finish: the Purist, the Cruette, or the Simplice. Whatever choice you make, something tells me that doing dishes is going to be a lot cheerier around someone’s house very soon…

Kohler Jonathan Adler YHL Giveaway Faucets

  • PRIZE: A new kitchen sink from the Kohler Colors Featuring Jonathan Adler collection, plus a new faucet. A potential prize value of nearly $3,000!
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “ADLER ME!” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … how are you currently bringing color into your kitchen? Did you pick a bold paint color for the walls? Do you like a vase of fresh flowers on the counter? Or do you often find that the most colorful thing in your kitchen is your latest culinary creation?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, July 25th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of Kohler.

    ADLER ME!

We are in a rental right now, so we had to find small ways to add color to our kitchen. So I made some macrame plant holders, with a bit of a modern facelift by using colorful rope, and then put fun colorful pots in them.

Currently our kitchen has pops of red color through kitchen towels and tablecloth, etc. This would be a great way to modernize our boring white porcelain sink!

We’re putting in 1350 sq feet of Mesa Rust ceramic tile all by ourselves. About half done. Also painted a blue based gray on the walls. Love it. Kitchen is next. Sure could use a new sink and faucet. Thanks!

We are building a new house and our kitchen is a blank slate right now. I am planning greige for the walls, so I will need to bring in the color w/ accessories, but it’s tricky in a kitchen b/c I don’t want to clutter up the counters!

Our kitchen started off as brown and white…brown countertops (still there…not for much longer, I hope!), white cabinets (which are find), white tile floor (which I HATE!) and brown walls. So far, we’ve just painted the walls Sesame from Benjamin Moore (sound familiar??) ;-) I think the Palmero Blue double sink would look STELLAR in our space. Eek! What a great giveaway! So nice of you guys to hook up your readers like this.
