Fab Freebie: A Splash Of Color

*** This giveaway is now closed – see who won below!***

After quite a color-filled few days here on YHL, random.org has selected our winner as… Daffodil (whose kitchen gets almost zero natural light, so she painted it a cheerful bright yellow). Congrats! And I think we have an idea of what color sink you might be choosing…

Jonathan Adler has been a big inspiration to us lately, especially as we learn to embrace more color in this house than our first one. And as excited as we were by his new color-filled collaboration with Kohler, we were even MORE excited when Kohler agreed to give one of you a new kitchen sink and faucet to the tune of nearly $3,000 in value. So what’ll it be? Do you want the poppy yellow apron sink for your kitchen? A cool aqua double-sink for your basement wet bar? Or maybe a deep single sink in navy? The choice is all yours.

Kohler Jonathan Adler YHL Giveaway

And since a sink isn’t much good without a faucet, Kohler’s gonna let you choose from three of their favorite styles in any available finish: the Purist, the Cruette, or the Simplice. Whatever choice you make, something tells me that doing dishes is going to be a lot cheerier around someone’s house very soon…

Kohler Jonathan Adler YHL Giveaway Faucets

  • PRIZE: A new kitchen sink from the Kohler Colors Featuring Jonathan Adler collection, plus a new faucet. A potential prize value of nearly $3,000!
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “ADLER ME!” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … how are you currently bringing color into your kitchen? Did you pick a bold paint color for the walls? Do you like a vase of fresh flowers on the counter? Or do you often find that the most colorful thing in your kitchen is your latest culinary creation?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, July 25th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of Kohler.

    ADLER ME –

I need some beauty in my kitchen! My kitchen is currently lime green and black – yuck! It needs some serious beautification and updating – a new sink and faucet would help a ton.

ADLER ME! – We inherited a dark green kitchen counter when we bought our house. I like to dress it up with pops of yellow and orange on towels, some colorful vintage corning bowls in yellow and aqua, plus whatever fresh flowers are blooming in our yard.

This would be amazing! We are redoing our 1020;s kitechn with bright red countertops. we’ve picked up some fantastic blue, yellow and green accents- blue curtains, a centerpiece with green, and art with all three colors in it. These sinks would be SUCH a cool accent.
not to mention we love flowers whichever in a season with lots of colour.

We are in the process of doing a kitchen “face lift” (new paint, counter tops, drawer pulls, and backsplash.) As of right now, we have painted the kitchen with light gray paint (BM Wish) and are planning to go with a light gray/white granite or quartz, to complement our existing white cabinets. Right now, I am contemplating bringing in some serious color with the backsplash – I have a few samples of glass mosaics in the turquoise family, but I’m not ready to fully commit!!

Adler me!! The pops of color in our kitchen come from my Fiestaware collection. I’ve collected almost all of the serveware pieces in Cobalt and Shamrock along with a set of mugs. I also commissioned someone on Etsy to make some square mosaics made with Shamrock, Cobalt, and white Fiestaware pieces that hang in the kitchen. I love them! A nice, dark blue sink would look awesome in there!

Adler Me! We took out the wall between our dining room and kitchen and I can now see my kitchen sink from my couch. We love the openness, but we could definitely use some help bringing the fun colors of our living and dining room into our kitchen with its medium stained cabinets and brown tile floor (all brand new when we moved in, but not our taste)
