Fab Freebie: A Splash Of Color

*** This giveaway is now closed – see who won below!***

After quite a color-filled few days here on YHL, random.org has selected our winner as… Daffodil (whose kitchen gets almost zero natural light, so she painted it a cheerful bright yellow). Congrats! And I think we have an idea of what color sink you might be choosing…

Jonathan Adler has been a big inspiration to us lately, especially as we learn to embrace more color in this house than our first one. And as excited as we were by his new color-filled collaboration with Kohler, we were even MORE excited when Kohler agreed to give one of you a new kitchen sink and faucet to the tune of nearly $3,000 in value. So what’ll it be? Do you want the poppy yellow apron sink for your kitchen? A cool aqua double-sink for your basement wet bar? Or maybe a deep single sink in navy? The choice is all yours.

Kohler Jonathan Adler YHL Giveaway

And since a sink isn’t much good without a faucet, Kohler’s gonna let you choose from three of their favorite styles in any available finish: the Purist, the Cruette, or the Simplice. Whatever choice you make, something tells me that doing dishes is going to be a lot cheerier around someone’s house very soon…

Kohler Jonathan Adler YHL Giveaway Faucets

  • PRIZE: A new kitchen sink from the Kohler Colors Featuring Jonathan Adler collection, plus a new faucet. A potential prize value of nearly $3,000!
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “ADLER ME!” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … how are you currently bringing color into your kitchen? Did you pick a bold paint color for the walls? Do you like a vase of fresh flowers on the counter? Or do you often find that the most colorful thing in your kitchen is your latest culinary creation?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, July 25th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of Kohler.

I started with adding a little color in the walls, and now it’s just towels, candles and fruit for other pops! Hopefully one day we can do a backsplash.

ADLER ME! My 2 children and I recently moved back in with my parents and i was just commenting last night about how the kitchen looks like snow white’s cabin! haha. But seriously it does.. We love greens and blues, although my current fave is yellow and a new sink might be just what we need to turn the cabin-of-a-kitchen around!

My kitchen is currently the basic 70’s one from when we bought it, luckily in dark wood and cream, rather than a 70’s color but I love the pops of red we put in with accessories!

    ADLER ME!!

Our new-to-us kitchen is all cabinets, windows and doorways, so I don’t have much room for colorful wall art. But I DO have plenty of room for a big bright rug/floor cloth, so I’ve been keeping my eye out for the perfect outrageous floral. I’m sure a new navy sink would help me narrow it down! ;)

Adler Me!!! The only color in our kitchen right now is the pink walls which I hate. I totally misjudged the color when we did the kitchen and I hate it and kitchens have a lot of corners for painting. But this would totally be a reason to re-paint!!

We chose to keep our existing cabinets in our kitchen reno but the backs of them we’re that great. Instead of trying to patch, sand and paint, we chose to wallpaper them a bright orange cheetah pattern. Now, whenever someone opens a cabinet door–bam!–a pop of color they didn’t except comes at them.

The brightest pop of color in my kitchen is unfortunately not by choice. The gold and orange 70’s floor gives off enough spunk for now. A new sink would for sure make a kitchen update move right to the top of my to do list!
