Fab Freebie: A Splash Of Color

*** This giveaway is now closed – see who won below!***

After quite a color-filled few days here on YHL, random.org has selected our winner as… Daffodil (whose kitchen gets almost zero natural light, so she painted it a cheerful bright yellow). Congrats! And I think we have an idea of what color sink you might be choosing…

Jonathan Adler has been a big inspiration to us lately, especially as we learn to embrace more color in this house than our first one. And as excited as we were by his new color-filled collaboration with Kohler, we were even MORE excited when Kohler agreed to give one of you a new kitchen sink and faucet to the tune of nearly $3,000 in value. So what’ll it be? Do you want the poppy yellow apron sink for your kitchen? A cool aqua double-sink for your basement wet bar? Or maybe a deep single sink in navy? The choice is all yours.

Kohler Jonathan Adler YHL Giveaway

And since a sink isn’t much good without a faucet, Kohler’s gonna let you choose from three of their favorite styles in any available finish: the Purist, the Cruette, or the Simplice. Whatever choice you make, something tells me that doing dishes is going to be a lot cheerier around someone’s house very soon…

Kohler Jonathan Adler YHL Giveaway Faucets

  • PRIZE: A new kitchen sink from the Kohler Colors Featuring Jonathan Adler collection, plus a new faucet. A potential prize value of nearly $3,000!
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “ADLER ME!” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … how are you currently bringing color into your kitchen? Did you pick a bold paint color for the walls? Do you like a vase of fresh flowers on the counter? Or do you often find that the most colorful thing in your kitchen is your latest culinary creation?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, July 25th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of Kohler.

    ADLER ME!

I love bringing splashes of color into my kitchen by adding artwork. I always protect it from kitchen accidents by framing it in something wipeable.

ADLER ME! Right now we have purple walls, but they’re on the way out. We’re getting ready to add more life by changing our cabinets from white to a bright color – thinking turquoise. In fact – I just bought our cabinet paint this morning (it’s still untinted while I decide).

Right now we have bright blue’ish walls with cream(they are horrific laminate ones).

I keep some fresh flowers on my window sill for additional color.

We’re moving into a new house tomorrow. The kitchen is currently completely neutral. Can’t wait to bring a bunch of color into it — leaning toward turquoise accents at the moment.

    ADLER ME!

We haven’t done much to our kitchen since we moved into our house – we have light cream laminate counter tops, stainless steel appliances and oak cabinets. We dream of someday being able to install new counters and paint our cabinets white. With this in mind, I try to incorporate colors that lead in from the dining room. Cobalt blue, turquoise and punches of green come through with a fake plant on a ledge of one side of the kitchen and a DIY terrarium in our “drive through window” (a view-through window from above our kitchen sink into our living room). It’s definitely a difficult task but it keeps the room lively!

I currently have the original tiles and mustard yellow sink in my original 1964 kitchen. Until I can fully update – I place small bud vases filled with colorful flowers on the window sill. A nice focus for my otherwise desperate kitchen.

We painted our kitchen a great bold green color. We have wood cabinets and brown countertops so we wanted to go with a great bold color on the walls! We also have color in our dishes and towles in there as well. I would love a deep single sink in our kitchen!

I’m am soo stuck on this right now! It’s exactly my decorating dilemna! I love color but get so intimidated by how to incorporate it without overdoing it. I did use more color in our wall paint and the rest in accesories as we decorate our new house. Baby steps I guess!

    Seriously. I love that man.

We are in the middle of figuring out how to overhaul our kitchen. It’s currently basic-builder-grade golden oak cabinets and laminate countertops. I’d love to make it more neutral/white and then pop in something like the palermo blue sink. Beautiful!

    ADLER ME……please!!

My kitchen is a pretty yellow but I make it more colorful by adding pops of colors!! On tops of my cabinents, I have blue and purple spray painted wine bottles, a very beautiful and colorful anthro spoon holder, a great hand towel on my oven with flowers from Ikea, a purple kitchen mat, and probably a few more pops here or there. It’s not overkill but makes me happy to see it!

If I were to win the sink I wouldn’t even know where to begin but let me tell you that thing would see lots of love in my kitchen…there is no diswasher in my house!

    Have a good day guys!

    ALDER ME!!!!

Unfortunately, the kitchen in my house came with TOO MUCH color, as in sage green everything with a brown sink. I’m getting ready to renovate everything to a nice, simple white & grey color scheme so I can add color the right way. I’ve totally been eying Jonathan Adler’s beautiful yellow sink. It would be the perfect pop of color for my new neutral kitchen!
