Fab Freebie: A Splash Of Color

*** This giveaway is now closed – see who won below!***

After quite a color-filled few days here on YHL, random.org has selected our winner as… Daffodil (whose kitchen gets almost zero natural light, so she painted it a cheerful bright yellow). Congrats! And I think we have an idea of what color sink you might be choosing…

Jonathan Adler has been a big inspiration to us lately, especially as we learn to embrace more color in this house than our first one. And as excited as we were by his new color-filled collaboration with Kohler, we were even MORE excited when Kohler agreed to give one of you a new kitchen sink and faucet to the tune of nearly $3,000 in value. So what’ll it be? Do you want the poppy yellow apron sink for your kitchen? A cool aqua double-sink for your basement wet bar? Or maybe a deep single sink in navy? The choice is all yours.

Kohler Jonathan Adler YHL Giveaway

And since a sink isn’t much good without a faucet, Kohler’s gonna let you choose from three of their favorite styles in any available finish: the Purist, the Cruette, or the Simplice. Whatever choice you make, something tells me that doing dishes is going to be a lot cheerier around someone’s house very soon…

Kohler Jonathan Adler YHL Giveaway Faucets

  • PRIZE: A new kitchen sink from the Kohler Colors Featuring Jonathan Adler collection, plus a new faucet. A potential prize value of nearly $3,000!
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “ADLER ME!” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … how are you currently bringing color into your kitchen? Did you pick a bold paint color for the walls? Do you like a vase of fresh flowers on the counter? Or do you often find that the most colorful thing in your kitchen is your latest culinary creation?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, July 25th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of Kohler.

Our kitchen walls are a bold shade of red and we have turqouise accents throughout! A sink in riverby would look AMAZING! The purist faucet is beautiful as well. :)

I currently rent (with plan to buy REAL soon) so our pops of color have to come in the form of accessories, paintings and furniture to liven up our home. Our tomato red couch and bright yellow armoire are two of my favorite things!

ADLER ME! When we moved into our house, our kitchen counters were an ugly green. I wanted to bring a punch of color in, so we painted the walls a bright, sunny yellow. They are the brightest walls in the house and add a punch of happiness to that room, which is great until we can afford to rip it out!

    ADLER ME!!

We’re currently in the early remodeling stages of our kitchen, so we don’t have much color YET (a colored sink would help…haha)…but we just painted the walls a grayish green color, our cabinets are SOON to be white, and I’m just waiting for my husband to finish building our Pottery-Barn-Inspired kitchen table so I can buy a BRIGHTLY colored table runner and a fun vase for some flowers!

ADLER ME! Adler me a little of that Annapolis Navy – it would complement the pops of color I currently have, mostly in the form of bright enamel dishware. That and a very ugle mauve counter top that’s seen better days…

Adler me! We brought in color in a BIG way. Our cabinets were the 1980’s oak cabinets that are just plain ugly. We decided to paint them – the tops ones white and the bottom ones a robin’s egg blue. We LOVE the blue!

ALDER ME! I am currently trying to bring more color into our entire house, taking inspiration for you guys! The kitchen has a new fabric roller shade I recently DIY’d using a geometric pattern in teal, and limey green. This is totally out of character for me and i was shocked to see how well it flowed with the rest of the kitchen…then I bought industrial Lyon brand stools for the island in their “Wedgewood blue” which is a bright fun pop! LOVE it!

Best giveaway ever. This goes in my dream kitchen–but I can’t decide among yellow, green, and Palermo blue. All work with my color scheme.
    Adler me!
My kitchen has grassy green walls, but not much wall space, so color comes in the form of Charley Harper bird plates, “fridge art,” and rugs/towels. Plus, the view outside the window into my garden reveals a lot of color.

We’re actually planning on a budget kitchen upgrade: painting the cabinets white, replacing the countertop (black), and a white mixed-material backsplash… so I guess we are taking color OUT of the kitchen! However, everything on the countertops (that are currently a hideous molted black & green nonsense) is colorful: flour/sugar canisters in colors, striped fruit bowl, colorful kitchenaid… No lack for color!
