BONUS Fab Freebie: The YHL Baby Pool!

Sherry’s officially three weeks from her due date (May 19th) so we thought it was about time we started a fun little baby pool around here. And like any traditional baby pool, we’re taking guesses about when the beanette will be arriving…

But our little YHL twist is that this baby pool comes with a special home decor-tastic prize: an $100 gift card to West Elm! We realize it’s not a particularly baby-themed freebie, but we wanted everyone (with or without a bean) to be excited to play. And needless to say we were beyond thrilled when the kind folks at West Elm offered up an amazingly generous gift card to one lucky reader. We couldn’t love their stuff more. Seriously.

So here’s how it’s gonna work:

  • Comment on this post with the DATE that you think our baby girl will arrive. No need to guess times or weights (well you can but we won’t be judging those). And for fun feel free to toss out your favorite West Elm item these days.
  • We’ll leave the pool open for guesses until we announce Baby P’s arrival, so guess now or take your chances waiting (bearing in mind that we won’t be disclosing the exact moment she’s born, so you do risk losing if you hold out too long).
  • Once we’ve recuperated after D-Day (delivery day), we’ll use random.org to select ONE RANDOM WINNER out of everyone who guessed the right date.
  • The prize (aka: a $100 gift card to West Elm) is available to everyone in the USA. And, as usual, only one entry per email address is permitted.

Have fun with your predictions everyone – at this point your guesses are as good as ours!

    I think May 22nd. I know, how cruel of me, but sometimes when it’s your first your body takes a bit longer to get going. But then, if it runs in your family to go earlier then you might go earlier. I’ll stick with May 22nd. I can’t believe how many comments there are! You’re going to read all 1,360+ of them? Wow! You deserve the gift card more than we do! Get some rest before the baby comes!

    I’m sticking with the original due date of 5/19. Baby P would have the same birthday as my father and believe it or not, 3 other important people in my life.

    I’m currently lusting after that overlapping squares day bed. It would be perfect for our office.

    may 19th! i am really interested in that day bed, actually. and wonder if you have done any reviews on here about it. i’m interested in knowing if it’s comfortable enough to sleep on. i’d love to hear more about your thoughts on it, please. thank you. and good luck!

      Hey Sara Jane,

      We bought out own twin mattress to top our daybed with, so it’s as comfy as can be. Your choice in mattress will really determine that. Hope it helps!

    I’m guessing the beanette will appear on May 21st, not on time, but not too late.

    As for West Elm, I would take anything, but the Blake Sofa and Oval Back Dining Chairs make me swoon.

    Well, since: 1. you don’t look like you’ve dropped much (you look lovely btw), 2. you previously said babies run late on both sides, 3. I like odd numbers and 4. the next full moon is May 27th…
