Yes, this freebie is about cleaning, but the “nice” part of my post title risks being a major understatement. For instance, would you call this incredible Australian house that we virtually crashed back in February just “nice?”
Of course not. It’s amazing. Which is why we’re excited that those very homeowners are also the geniuses behind the luxurious and superbly eco-friendly cleaning line called Murchison-Hume. Even more excitingly, they’re sending over $250 worth of luxe home-cleaning products to one lucky reader’s casa (feel free to drool, since you’ll soon have something to clean it up with).
So why do we love Murchison-Hume? Let’s start with the design: vintage apothecary-style bottles that make any countertop photo-shoot ready. Then there’s the eco part. All products are premium organic and are based in the same technology that cleans up oil spills, meaning they’re completely non-toxic. Oh, and of course there’s the fact that they actually work – and smell great (mmm, Australian White Grapefruit). I absolutely love this stuff! I grabbed some of their hand soap from anthropologie a few months ago and it is the best purchase (in the soap department) I’ve ever made!
I have to have to brush my teeth all the time! there is no such thing as too clean of teeth! But I also can not stand a dirty toilet, mirror, or bath/shower. eek

I wash my hands constantly throughout the day. Comes with having 2 kids and dirty nappies to change, loads of cooking and then out playing in the muck with them. Hands dont’ feel right unless nicely washed!

Those pesky pepper and salt granules on the kitchen countertop are my nemesis. I cannot walk through the kitchen without a swift sweep of the countertop. My sister recently purchased a great little wooden “tray” to eliminate the debris from her pepper mill; it was a great idea.

I do have to confess I am an obsessive toothbrusher, carry one in my purse, brush after every meal…
However, with my house I am avid kitchen cleaner, doesn’t matter how tired I am after a long day the kitchen MUST be clean before I go to bed. The toilet is also an object of my obsession at LEAST twice a week it needs to be sanitized. Please show me some love with these products because as obsessive as I am about cleaning….I love to do it naturally. Most often with fresh lemons and vinegar.
