Raise your hand if you know what a bathymetric chart is. I didn’t before this giveaway, but it’s basically like a topographic map for what lies underwater. But the more important thing to know is that the married duo behind Below the Boat turns these charts into gorgeous, laser-cut, hand-assembled works of art.     Boat me!! I’ve always wanted to go sailing, here in south TX there are mostly just bass fishing boats & party barges, not many cool sail boats.

    BOAT ME! I grew up on a lake, so I’d love to venture back in time and go for a ride in the little rowboat my friend and I fixed up when we were in high school.

    BOAT ME! And I looooove kayaking and canoeing… I have no desire to go on a cruise, but put me in a tiny water craft with a PB&J and no plans and I’m a happy kid.

    Boat Me!

    I’ve always wanted to learn how to sail…but considering I know next to nothing about it, all I can say is “a boat someone can help me sail…” Hah. If I’m ever out on the water, I’ll make sure to send some warnings since I clearly have no idea about anything related to sailing at ALL!

    My ship of choice would be an old row boat like the one I had when I was a kid. I spent hours out exploring the rivers around our home. Great memories!!!!

    I would totally rock kayak, but a double one (for the husband) with a small spot for my wiener dog Toby. Let’s be honest, he would look adorable in a helmet & vest.

    BOAT ME! I love to explore lakes, creeks, and rivers in a canoe. I would love to experience traveling a long river in a houseboat, though. How fun would that be?
