Raise your hand if you know what a bathymetric chart is. I didn’t before this giveaway, but it’s basically like a topographic map for what lies underwater. But the more important thing to know is that the married duo behind Below the Boat turns these charts into gorgeous, laser-cut, hand-assembled works of art. They’re beautifully intricate and fascinatingly detailed. And they’ve got lots of bodies of water from the east coast, west coast, and even some lakes in between.     BOAT ME…. a any boat with a deck as long as it is somewhere warm with clear water. Caribbean – Pacific doesn’t matter.

    I love the river cruises in Germany, they are a great way to get to know the country. I would suggest the Rhine River Cruise! Worth it!

    I’m probably ridiculous, but I’ve had a thing for houseboats for a couple years. My fiancé really isn’t into it though, so that mightn’t be the very best of all possible ideas. Maybe I could convince him?

    Boat me!

    Every summer, our family goes to Plymouth, MA and go out on our friend’s fishing boat. We go to “our beach” which is only there during low tide. We stay all day until the tide comes back and the boat can float again. However, I would loooove to go on a luxury cruise!

    BOAT ME!

    I have to admit, after watching so much Masterpiece Theatre, that I want to go on a Viking river cruise :D My idea of a cool cruise would not be the Caribbean, but Alaska or Russia or Euro coast. Give me cold, wet and scenic views any day over sunburn and tropical heat.

    My husband is such a map nerd, this would be the coolest decoration

    Boat me to a lazy river, cool and green, dappled with sunlight through overhanging boughs, as my husband and I row to a secluded spot for a gourmet lunch and talk about the empty nest years ahead.

    BOAT ME! I guess I would have to say sailboat. My boyfriend and his family love sailing. Though I can’t swim and am terrified of drowning, so I’m always a nervous wreck during these trips.
