Fab Freebie: Tool’s In Session

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – see who won below!***

And the random winner of lots of goodies from Liquid-Plumr is… Maria (who is actually applying for her PhD in global health diplomacy right now – a self declared “nerdfest”). Congrats!

Raise your hand if you’d like a $150 gift card to Home Depot and a 145-piece tool set? Okay, hands down. We can’t see you anyways. But one of you is going to score those supplies along with two of Liquid-Plumr’s latest clog-busting products. It’s all part of their Tool School, which puts Toolbelt Diva Norma Vally behind the teacher’s desk and includes how-to videos like the one below. Enroll now and you might just know what to do with all 145 tools that are up for grabs…

  • PRIZE: A $150 gift card to Home Depot, a 145-piece tool set, and Liquid-Plumr Double Impact and Disposal & Drain Foaming Cleaner
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “SCHOOL ME!” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … if you could go to school to earn any degree you wanted right now, what would you study? Would you try something new and exciting? Or follow the same career path that you may have already taken?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, January 18th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States or Canada (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winners will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Video courtesy of Liquid-Plumr.

School me! I might go back and get my interior design degree… I spent two years in the program before changing paths and becoming a science teacher!

    SCHOOL ME!

It’s not the most lucrative career path, but I would get a degree in sociology all over again. I loved it, and school is so much more enjoyable when you are interested in what you’re learning.

(I’d take gluten free cooking classes for fun to relearn how to bake since we’ve realized my husband is gluten-intolerant)

If I could go back to school right this second, I’d major in film studies! Not that I don’t love and use my English degree, but I adore movies and would love to have some formal education.

It’s so hard to choose just one thing I’d like to learn! I think that Architecture would be my number one choice and my second choice would be Graphic Design. Oh and my third choice would be cooking school. Sigh, if only I had the time to do these things.

SCHOOL ME!! I would definitely take a “shop” class (what the guys took while the girls took Home Ec back in the dark ages–1970’s). Where you’d learn about electrical, plumbing, woodworking, etc. I already knew how to cook & sew a little. I did NOT know anything about tools or DIY until I owned my 1st condo 22 yrs ago. To have that knowledge base back then would have saved me literally thousands of $$$’s paying someone else. And now that I have some skills, it would fan-tas-tic to have a complete array of tools at my disposal. Small DIY successes have breed the confidence to try just about anything.
