Fab Freebie: Tool’s In Session

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – see who won below!***

And the random winner of lots of goodies from Liquid-Plumr is… Maria (who is actually applying for her PhD in global health diplomacy right now – a self declared “nerdfest”). Congrats!

Raise your hand if you’d like a $150 gift card to Home Depot and a 145-piece tool set? Okay, hands down. We can’t see you anyways. But one of you is going to score those supplies along with two of Liquid-Plumr’s latest clog-busting products. It’s all part of their Tool School, which puts Toolbelt Diva Norma Vally behind the teacher’s desk and includes how-to videos like the one below. Enroll now and you might just know what to do with all 145 tools that are up for grabs…

  • PRIZE: A $150 gift card to Home Depot, a 145-piece tool set, and Liquid-Plumr Double Impact and Disposal & Drain Foaming Cleaner
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “SCHOOL ME!” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … if you could go to school to earn any degree you wanted right now, what would you study? Would you try something new and exciting? Or follow the same career path that you may have already taken?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, January 18th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States or Canada (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winners will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Video courtesy of Liquid-Plumr.

I would love to get whatever degree it is that would let me teach at a college, instead of working. :) (NOT that it’s not work to teach college classes… just more gentle, less stressful work, I think, than working at an agency.)

We are actually planning on attending grad school this coming fall. We will be putting our house on the market in a couple months, but in the mean time we are busy making some fixes and updating crummy builder grade fixtures to make the house more marketable. This would help us out a ton!

Actually, I probably wouldn’t go back for any degree. While I loved living the college life, I didn’t actually like the “school” aspect of it. I’d love to just take random classes though, not towards a degree, but just for fun and to learn new things.

I’m already enrolled in graduate school in the little-known field of Drama Therapy. Don’t know what it is? Don’t feel bad. Basically, acting things out to solve problems. Taking on a character who can help you learn something new about yourself. Performing in a play to increase social skills and self confidence. It’s totally cool.
