I would definitely study the same thing I did (Merchandising), but would look for an internship a little more exciting than the high-end independent retailer I was at to get my foot in the door for something way more exciting down the line… Working at a retail store is great, because I love to make the store look “pretty” and new, but this was not what I was dreaming of when I was in school!
