Fab Freebie: Tool’s In Session

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – see who won below!***

And the random winner of lots of goodies from Liquid-Plumr is… Maria (who is actually applying for her PhD in global health diplomacy right now – a self declared “nerdfest”). Congrats!

Raise your hand if you’d like a $150 gift card to Home Depot and a 145-piece tool set? Okay, hands down. We can’t see you anyways. But one of you is going to score those supplies along with two of Liquid-Plumr’s latest clog-busting products. It’s all part of their Tool School, which puts Toolbelt Diva Norma Vally behind the teacher’s desk and includes how-to videos like the one below. Enroll now and you might just know what to do with all 145 tools that are up for grabs…

  • PRIZE: A $150 gift card to Home Depot, a 145-piece tool set, and Liquid-Plumr Double Impact and Disposal & Drain Foaming Cleaner
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “SCHOOL ME!” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … if you could go to school to earn any degree you wanted right now, what would you study? Would you try something new and exciting? Or follow the same career path that you may have already taken?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, January 18th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States or Canada (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winners will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Video courtesy of Liquid-Plumr.

If I went back to school, I think I’d go for nursing or maybe nutrition. Or physical therapy. I guess I still don’t know what I want to be when I grow up :-)

I recently went back to school for nursing and it was the best decision I’ve ever made! If/when I go back again it will probably be for nursing education.

SCHOOL ME! If I were to go back to College, I’d get a degree in Higher Education Administration. I love working with college students and believe strongly in the value of higher education. If I wanted to get something more impractical, I’d go for a degree in culinary arts and photography – that way I could live out my days as a happy food blogger. :-)

I’m happy with the degree I have (metalsmithing). I just wish I had more money to get my studio set up. It’s getting there, but slowly. $150 to home depot would be quite helpful :)

    SCHOOL ME!

I double majored in graphic design & photography and actually went straight into both fields after college. Nine years after graduating I’m a Senior Graphic Designer and still like it, but I wish I had more DIY skills for home renovations. I have the ‘vision’ just not the ability to follow through with things like re-tiling our 80’s bathroom. Ha.

So if I could go back to school right now, I’d love to take ‘shop style’ classes to learn home improvement skills. :)

SCHOOL ME! but skip the toxins please!!

I’d go back to school for architecture.

On a side note: I’m surprised to see that you guys are giving away an item that is so very un-‘green’. Liquid Plumbr Double Impact and Disposal & Drain Foaming Cleaner:

    – includes at least four established “Hazardous Ingredients” according to their MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet), not to mention probably many, many other nasty chemicals.
    – The first line on the MSDS is (in all caps): “CAN CAUSE BURNS ON CONTACT” ouch!
    – Furthermore, it “reacts with other household chemicals … to produce hazardous gases…” (MSDS). WOW!!!
    – Lastly, if it is this hazardous to humans, why are we putting down our drains to be part of our eco-systems (og the plants and animals – I know how you love your flora and fauna!!!).

Sorry to get on my soap box about this, but it’s pretty important to me to limit our use and exposure to toxins like these!

This is important information to know if this is something that you are going to have in your house. Especially if you have young children!!!
