Fab Freebie: This Is Your Pilot Writing

***This giveaway  is now closed – see who won below! ***

Clearly I’m not the only one who loves a good writing utensil (and Target card) as this giveaway reached our 10,000 entry cap within just 24 hours. Nice work team! So that means we get to crown a winner early. That lucky writer is… Heather F (who “writes notes on the back of envelopes and then loses them. Argh.”) Congrats Heather!

This sounds kinda weird, but I’m very particular about my writing tools. So when the folks at Pilot noticed that we tend to write with their products, they wanted to thank us by passing some freebies along. But you know we don’t take them, so we’re paying it forward in the form of a $500 prize to one of you. Now, before you start figuring out what the heck you’re gonna do with $500 worth of pens – let me stop you. While they’ll keep your hands busy with a variety of pens and highlighters (even some erasable varieties) they’re also gonna let our lucky winner pick out $150 worth of Levenger notebooks and organizers (since we could all use a little organization this time of year). Oh, and to round out the $500 prize, how does a $200 Target gift card sound? That way you can pick up any other items you need to get 2013 off to a productive and organized start.

Pilot Pen Giveaway

  • PRIZE: An assortment of Pilot products plus $150 towards the Levenger notebooks of your choice and a $200 Target gift card (total value $500).
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “PILOT ME!” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … your favorite way to take notes or scribble down a message. Do you always keep a ballpoint pen in your pocket or purse? Do you swear by pencils so that you can erase your misspellings? Or are you 100% digital and prefer to rely on phone apps and voice memos to keep you organized?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, January 16th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: We always beg every vendor to ship internationally but some companies are not legally able to vend things beyond specific areas (more on that here). This giveaway is open to the United States and Canada.
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…
  • ***COMMENT ISSUES? If you’re trying to enter but keep getting a “duplicate comment” warning, click here to see how to solve it!

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of Pilot.="nofollow">

I love to draw with a nice smooth pen. I tend to use pencils more though because I like to erase my mistakes.

Im old fashioned and like opening a crisp new tabet and writing notes with a sharp ball point pen. Nothing better than checking things of my “to do” list!
I also love me a great doodle pad during church or doctor visits! I tend to get board ;)

Pencils all the way!! But has to be mechanical, and not cheap-o ones. The refillable kind. There is just something about the way that they write so smoothly! :) And as far as notes, my mac and desk are covered with post-its! I have something of a post-it fetish!

Pilot Me Please! I still kick it old school with thank-you cards and greeting cards. As one of the only one of my friends and family that moved away from my home town (multiple times)it’s the personal touch and a fabulous pen that can make a difference (or can make a great card smudge-free!). Thanks :)

Pilot me!! I’m a high school teacher and a note addict. I don’t go anywhere without a fine-line, felt-tipped pen and I usually end up writing my notes on Post-Its- in a rainbow of colours- for my students, my coworkers, my husband, myself…!

My brain is always a huge jumble and I’m constantly thinking of things to do, buy, watch, listen to, etc. I write quick short notes in my phone (not a smartphone!) and also have a planner and small notebook with me. However I will always jot something down on my hand, no problem!

I’m a total nerd about note-taking. Since I just started back to school for my masters, I’m using levenger notepads with the blank area down the left hand side. I like a bold gel ballpoint in dark blue. :)

    PILOT ME!! (Please)
Mom of 1 + 1 on the way, working full time outside of the home (as well as in it) – I rely on organization. I LOVE all things lists, journals, notes, and anything else that allows me to write things out by hand. I’ve even been known to re-write lists that I’m not quite aesthetically pleased with :)
Just to make sure I have my bases covered, I tend to write my notes multiple times in multiple places – that way the Hubs stays aligned on our game plans too! :)

I am so old school, even though I work in an IT dept, I am the one with the cool colored pens and old fashioned planner who writes EVERYthing down… and doodle and draw and make lists upon lists upon lists…. so this prize is right up my alley. I like pens so much that one of my favorite times of the year is back to school time, not because my child is going back to school (because she’s 3), but because I can get fab pens for low prices!!
