This sounds kinda weird, but I’m very particular about my writing tools. So when the folks at Pilot noticed that we tend to write with their products, they wanted to thank us by passing some freebies along. But you know we don’t take them, so we’re paying it forward in the form of a $500 prize to one of you. Now, before you start figuring out what the heck you’re gonna do with $500 worth of pens – let me stop you. Pilot me! I love pens and hate writing with pencils. In fact, the only time I ever got detention in school was centered around this fact. In seventh grade math, the teacher had gotten mad at the class for talking too much and yelled that the next person to speak would be given detention, and to get out pencils for a test. I didn’t have any pencils because I only wrote with pens, and whispered to someone asking for a pencil. Detention. That was 15 years ago, but I still only write with pens!
