Literally- it does. Hear me out for a minute. A couple of weeks ago we posted about our new Bissell vacuum, which virtually swept us off our feet (and actually sucked stuff off our floors). Well, thanks to the magic of the Interweb, that post actually caught the eye of the kind folks over at Bissell and after a few emails back and forth… tah dah! We managed to sweet talk them into a YHL giveaway. We recently had to say goodbye to our housekeeper of nearly 10 years. She has been with us through the birth and messes of both of our children. The thing is, she came with a vacuum cleaner and left with it too. :( Both of them are sorely missed.
Our “spring” cleaning is woven into our schedule all year long. Each month we have at least one special cleaning project to tackle. Now that it’s warm again in Florida, we’ll be hitting the back patio and the outside windows.

Every year I clean the AC filter. I think you are supposed to do it every month but I am proud that I think of it at least once a year. Also, we just bought a foreclosure house that has been vacant for over a year. We have plenty of dead bugs that require vacuuming and sweeping.
