How excited are we to be giving away a Model One Radio this week? You probably know that our cheery yellow one is one of our favorite things that we’ve bought for our new kitchen (more on that here). Sure it’s been dubbed “the best sounding table radio ever made” by some (MSNBC in this case), but our love for it stems first and foremost from its looks. It’s one good looking radio. But that’s not to say that we don’t crank up the radio (or an iPod playlist thanks to the auxiliary input in the back) and enjoy a family dance party every now and then…

RADIO ME! I listen to NPR all the time – I even set my radio alarm to go off an hour before I actually need to get up so I can catch up on the news as I snuggle with my pup and enjoy the last few minutes of rest before starting the craziness of the day.

RADIO ME! These radios are adorable! My husband would love it. I mostly listen to the radio on the way to work, but my husband likes to listen to it at home while he’s doing stuff around the house with our daughters.

I LOVE listening the the radio, and it’s pretty much on all the time in my apartment. Primarily NPR – keeping up on the news and also way-interesting human interest stories and shows (Car Talk, Wait Wait Don’t Tell Me, This American Life… I could go on!), but I also like to throw on a podcast or some top 40 or country hits when I’m cleaning my apartment to make the job go faster!
