How excited are we to be giving away a Model One Radio this week? You probably know that our cheery yellow one is one of our favorite things that we’ve bought for our new kitchen (more on that here). Sure it’s been dubbed “the best sounding table radio ever made” by some (MSNBC in this case), but our love for it stems first and foremost from its looks. It’s one good looking radio. But that’s not to say that we don’t crank up the radio (or an iPod playlist thanks to the auxiliary input in the back) and enjoy a family dance party every now and then…

We have the radio on in our kitchen almost all day every day! I love music in the background. We listen to a lot of Bluesy, Jazzy music from Louis Armstrong to Jamie Cullum, Adele or Lavay Smith. And after dinner, we use Pandora or a playlist on our ipod to get down with our bad selves while cleaning up the dishes. My husband usually rules the station then, and we listen to Tone Loc, Vanilla Ice or George Clinton…unless my 2 year old gets to pick, then it’s Johnny Cash or Curious George! All that said….music is a HUGE part of our day. I would LOVE to win this radio….very cool! And so super cool that you do these giveaways!
