How excited are we to be giving away a Model One Radio this week? You probably know that our cheery yellow one is one of our favorite things that we’ve bought for our new kitchen (more on that here). Sure it’s been dubbed “the best sounding table radio ever made” by some (MSNBC in this case), but our love for it stems first and foremost from its looks. It’s one good looking radio. But that’s not to say that we don’t crank up the radio (or an iPod playlist thanks to the auxiliary input in the back) and enjoy a family dance party every now and then…

I LOVE music and enjoy it from when I first wake to when I hit the sheets at night. I especially appreciate the radio while preparing dinner and during meals – I cannot stand the sound of chewing! :P

I use my radio to play my iPod. I tend to get ADD when I listen to music on a radio (whether it be FM or satellite) so I turn to my trusty Pod to deliver the tunes to my ears.

Radio ME!!!!! I listen to audio books…ALOT!! I don’t have time to sit and read books anymore now that I have two children. I miss it, so I have been using audio books in place of sitting and reading a book. I can still cook, clean, and play with my children while listening to my books! My current audio book is in the “Game of Thrones” series by George R. R. Martin. I am reading the “Feast of Dragons” in that series. I am also waiting for the final book for the Robert Jordan’s “Wheel of Time” Series that is being finished by Brandon Sanderson. I blame my husband for getting me hooked on fantasy/Sci-Fi.
