Fab Freebie: The Heat Is On

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – scroll to the bottom to see who won!***

Is it hot in here or is it just these? Har har. But seriously, Air & Water offers a slew of heating, cooling and even humidifying products for your home, and this week one of you is gonna score one of these electric fireplaces on the house:

AirNWater Heaters

Whether you go for the modern and colorful Mini Cube ($100), the large and traditional Lincoln ($300) or something in between, like the Danville or the Compact Electric ($130) you’ll be adding function and ambiance to any less-than-warm space. My mom actually has one like the Compact Electric and it was quite a hit over the Christmas holiday (the one-button remote couldn’t have been easier).

So here’s how to enter:

  • PRIZE: One electric fireplace from Air & Water (choose from the Mini Cube, Lincoln, Danville or Compact Electric).
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “HEAT ME UP!” and…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … tell us how you’re staying warm this winter (new coat? lots of hot chocolate?) or if your area’s weather has even required any stay-warm tactics (we had one of the coldest Decembers on record, but maybe you’ve been enjoying t-shirt weather?)
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, January 5th at 8pm EST
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The 48 contiguous United States
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday morning for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

******************************

Random.org has chosen a winner and it’s… Annette Nelson (who keeps warm by heating up a rice bag she made from Sew Mama Sew). Congrats!

Note: We weren’t paid or perk’d for hosting this giveaway, we just take them on to reward our lovely readers! See our Giveaway FAQs page for more info. Pics from Air & Water.

    Heat me up!

My hubby and I have no heat downstairs (yet!) so we’ve been staying warm upstairs… We have two precious boys that keep us busy – we are always moving! LOL!

Heat Me Up! – I’m in Central Texas so we haven’t had really cold weather. Mainly just a long sleeve shirt and jacket. But I still like to curl up with blankets.

HEAT ME UP!!–Love the look of these and it would fit perfect in my lower level.

We have had such a cold winter in IN thus far that I have been staying home in sweats and a snuggie with socks–Lovely look I am sure… Luckily I work from home and can do this. Otherwise I would live in my winter coat.

    Come on spring!!!

HEAT ME UP!!!! I’m in Richmond too, so I feel you on the cold December. The best way for me to stay warm is snuggling with my husband – he is a mini-furnace, seriously! I’m hoping our future children get his metabolism (that’s a helpful way to cut down on your heating bill).

HEAT ME UP! I live in an old ‘vintage’ apartment in Chicago and the radiators are very tempermental. When they’re all open and working it’s like a sauna in my apartment. When they’re not cranking out heat, I layer on a few blankets and light some candles as a faux-fire!

    HEAT ME UP!!

We’ve been using our fireplace in our basement family room a lot this year. Our basement is at least a solid 10 degrees colder than upstairs – and in Chilly Minnesota that’s a lot colder! I’d love to have that mini cube for my bedroom though…

Heat me up! Charlie Brown says happiness is a warm puppy, and I say I’m nice and toasty with two warm puppies. They hide under the blankets with me. They are not too keen on having the thermostat set at 65! (And to think these rescued beagles were once used to hunt. The only thing they hunt for these days is the nearest couch!) Of course, they will sometimes peek their little noses out to try and steal a sip of my hot tea…

I go through almost three pair of slippers every winter because I wear them CONSTANTLY if I’m not outside. I even keep a pair at my office and one at my parent’s house! If my feet are warm, then so is the rest of me, so it’s important to me to keep my footsies toasty!

    HEAT ME UP!!!!

We live in Florida…the sunshine state right? Huh not this year, the past month we’ve had highs in the 40s which if anyone had been down here it feels much colder in the winter because of the humidity, to highs in the 70s literally two days later so it has been one of the coldest Decembers but not constant but boy does our electric bill feel it!!! We’d love a fireplace but most place down here do not have them but this would be great!!! Awns I’m keeping warm snuggling to my hubby and our little girl!!! :)
