Fab Freebie: The Heat Is On

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – scroll to the bottom to see who won!***

Is it hot in here or is it just these? Har har. But seriously, Air & Water offers a slew of heating, cooling and even humidifying products for your home, and this week one of you is gonna score one of these electric fireplaces on the house:

AirNWater Heaters

Whether you go for the modern and colorful Mini Cube ($100), the large and traditional Lincoln ($300) or something in between, like the Danville or the Compact Electric ($130) you’ll be adding function and ambiance to any less-than-warm space. My mom actually has one like the Compact Electric and it was quite a hit over the Christmas holiday (the one-button remote couldn’t have been easier).

So here’s how to enter:

  • PRIZE: One electric fireplace from Air & Water (choose from the Mini Cube, Lincoln, Danville or Compact Electric).
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “HEAT ME UP!” and…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … tell us how you’re staying warm this winter (new coat? lots of hot chocolate?) or if your area’s weather has even required any stay-warm tactics (we had one of the coldest Decembers on record, but maybe you’ve been enjoying t-shirt weather?)
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, January 5th at 8pm EST
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The 48 contiguous United States
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday morning for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

******************************

Random.org has chosen a winner and it’s… Annette Nelson (who keeps warm by heating up a rice bag she made from Sew Mama Sew). Congrats!

Note: We weren’t paid or perk’d for hosting this giveaway, we just take them on to reward our lovely readers! See our Giveaway FAQs page for more info. Pics from Air & Water.

    HEAT ME UP!!

I haven’t a fireplace, I’ve a forced air furnace. So to economize on the heating bill, I’ve knitted up socks, made flannel jamma pants long enough to fit, and am wearing layers in the house!

Heat me up! I’m always cold…so why do I live
in Michigan? I use lots of blankets, throws, and
    space heaters.

We’re finishing an attic space and don’t know how
to heat it (radiator heat in the rest of the
house). That mini-cube would look great in there!

Heat me up! I have been warming up the house by cooking a lot. My freezer is full so when the warm weather comes, I can be outside enjoying and not inside cooking!

We keep our thermostat pretty low, so we’ve been test driving space heaters form Lowe’s for the basement. Haven’t been happy with any yet, so they keep getting returned. Bring on the blankets!

HEAT ME UP!!! This winter I am lucky to have my boyfriend to cuddle up to. Body heat all the way!! Our house is really old (it’s an old military base home… can’t wait to move and buy a home we can have heaters in!!) so they added on the master and didn’t do the ac/heat right. so last winter it was miserable. i slept next to my little guy in his race car bed 90% of it… gave him the warm room. so i am super blessed to have a loving WARM man now =D

    HEAT ME UP! (Please)

We’re doing our best to stay warm by weatherproofing the house. We like to be as energy efficient as possible, but our living room still carries a bit of a breeze. It would be GREAT to have one of these little buddies in there to keep us toasty warm!

I would LOVE to have the Lincoln! It’s look positively luxurious. We are renting an old (and terribly) insulated house that doesn’t have any central heat, so we’re getting by with some small space heaters that don’t really do the job and also worry us from a safety standpoint. This is the answer to my design prayers! I love a fireplace, but they come up rarely in rentals. This is awesome for the look ,the safety and the ability to cart it with us later. pretty please please please!
