I live in Phoenix so I loooooove fall. Once the heat starts to fade we grab the kids and the dog and FINALLY venture outside again! We plant flowers and go hiking. It’s amazing :)

The favorite seasons question is a tough one to answer. But, I think I’d have to say summer. I love sitting in the sun, by the water, with a good book. Alas, it seems so far away as it’s currently SNOWING in Boston. Boo.

My favorite season is Fall. I love the warm days and cool nights, the absence of pesky flies and bugs (the mosquito could be our state bird!). I love bonfires at night, the beautiful colors of the leaves, and the smells of the leaves as we rake. It’s a slower, more peaceful time after the busyness of the summer.

Fall is definitely my favorite season, but Spring comes in a close second. I love the crisp fall air and the warm colors of the changing leaves. However, the first hint of spring lifts my spirits like nothing else. I love seeing everything slowly change to green, and here in Missouri the redbuds are incredible!

Spring has sprung in New Orleans! :) To me there is nothing better than rediscovering the magic of my garden. My husband has a hard time getting me inside at night. So, Spring is definately IT for me.

I’m definitely a fall girl, especially now that I live in Middle Tennessee and fall can be gorgeous here! And I’ve also learned it’s a luxury after going straight from scorching hot to winter last year. The leaves just died before turning!

I think for me it’s a toss-up between summer and fall – and this is mostly related to water temperature. I grew up right next to Lake Huron, which doesn’t warm up properly until August and stays that way into October… But I love spending time in, on, or next to the water, and whenever the weather cooperates (i.e. not winter or spring)

Spring is my absolute favorite. I live in New York City, and not only does everything green come back to life in spring, but the city itself seems to follow suit. All of a sudden an anemic tree you’d been passing all winter is covered in flowers. Birds sing – they actually sing! – in, like, ONE TREE on the block. (it’s really neat, actually. they’ll pick just one place from which to serenade) Grumpy grumps in the subway system become real, live people on the streets in the sunshine. We shed our winter coats. We order iced coffee. We’re all sort of nodding at each other: hi. we know it will be sticky and smelly and hot in a couple of weeks, let’s keep this time just for us. don’t tell the tourists.
Plus, you know, it’s Spring! Everything comes back to life.
