Fab Freebie: The Bold & The Beautiful

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – scroll down to the bottom to see who won!***

We’re always on the lookout for new art these days (lots of empty walls!) so we’re excited to bring you this giveaway from Barcelona-based illustrator Judy Kaufmann. Her bold prints – sometimes colorful, sometimes stark – have a charming combo of simplicity and intricacy. Here are a few of our favs below, but you can of course browse more in her Etsy shop.

  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, February 2nd at 8pm EST
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: Two

    I’m bold!

It may not seem like a big deal to most people, but a few years ago on a cruise with my family, I went snorkeling out in the ocean…which is CRAZY for me because I am terrified of swimming with any fish bigger than a minnow. And even then, I’m afraid of being in water with a school of minnows…so the whole swimming in water with small sharks and barracuda = crazy brave of me :)

Boldest recent thing… I decided last year that I would go back to school and finish my undergraduate, after four years and two kids. The thought terrified me for a number of reasons, but I am so glad I did it. I am loving learning again, and I can’t wait to get into graduate work!

    I’M BOLD!

During undergrad– at age 19– I took an internship 500 miles from home in a “big city” for six months. I lived on my own in an apartment and learned my way around the city while working full-time as the only female in an engineering team of 9 guys. I loved it and count those months as some of the most influential in my life (now that I’m a a wise old 20-something…)!
