I am BOLD and I have capsized a sailboat while sailing on purpose in very cold Maine ocean water!
because I (along with my husband) sold our stuff and traveled around the US for 6 months:)
I’m bold! I went on a three week kayak trip in Mexico “off the grid”… no shower, toilet, etc for three weeks! That was the boldest thing I’ve done and loved (most) every minute of it!
I’m BOLD and I’m brave because when I graduated from college I flew off to teach in China all by myself, knowing no one and not even knowing where I would end up.

I’M BOLD! My living room is ORANGE! And I love it!
I’M BOLD because I moved in with my boyfriend in May, and I’ve never done that before! Eek! So far so good, but even after 6 months we still have some empty walls.
I’m BOLD and need some change. These would be great on our walls!
Love the tree print! I actually did go sky diving once. And it was awesome!! Now that I have two little children my husband doesn’t think it’s a good idea for me to go again… :)
I’m BOLD! haven’t done anything really brave or bold lately…but i’ll work on it! :)
I totally asked my husband out on our first date.
I’M BOLD… because I actually did confess my love to my best friend for years and thankfully the feeling was mutual!

I put myself back in school right after my husband returned home from serving a year in Iraq. It was terrifying because I hadn’t been an classroom in close to 24 months and those in my classes are my sisters age (four years younger than me). But it turned out well! I’m now five months away from graduating with my AOS degree and a year and a half away from having my BFA in Graphic Design. YEAH!
I moved across the country and away from everyone and everything I knew for a job a few years ago. It was really hard but turned out to be a wonderful experience!
i traveled around half the world right after i graduated from college….by myself!!!!
I’M BOLD! I took a job in DC when I was living in Massachusetts on a Thursday and had relocated by the following Monday. It was the biggest thing I had ever done, and, by far, the best!
I got my PhD in psychology!
I’M BOLD! Because I crashed a prom once. :)
I’m bold! This is more along the lines of “I’m crazy” but I trained for and ran a marathon before my daughter turned 1, definitely made me feel bold and like I could handle anything if I could do that.
Shortly after a promotion at work I completely redid my look. Chopping off my hair and updating my wardrobe to be more professional. I was so nervous about how it would be perceived, but it was very well received!
I actually did chop off all of my hair, just for some the heck of it. I’ve always had very long hair and about a month and a half ago I went and got 8 inches cut off!!! I’m still getting use to the change.
Another bold move, I painting my entire basement green – very ugly green! I repainted the entire basement beige after that bold move didn’t work out so well. I can’t tell by paint swabs or samples if I like a color, I have to see the entire room before I can tell if I love it or hate it!
Something bold that I’ve done lately…finally hemmed my curtains using your no sew approach…not really BOLD, as it is just finally getting some stuff done.
I lived in Spain for a semester my junior year of college. Stayed with a Spanish family, attended classes in Spanish. It was the adventure of a lifetime
Quit my job of 8 years to go back to school to be a nurse.
Hey! I did the same thing! Just graduated in June and am now working in an ER. Good luck to you!
I’M BOLD!…ok, not so much but thank you for the giveaway!
I went to my hair dresser for a new cut and came out with WAYYY less hair. Was not part of the plan at all. I decided to do a little shopping to kill time before going home and walked by a tattoo shop. My friend was with me and I was explaining to her that I had always wanted a tattoo of an antique key (my maiden name before I married) and one of the artists heard me and said “come on in, I can draw one out for you”. With in a few hours I had a new tattoo to go with my new short do. Was a bold day!
I’M BOLD! I love to dress myself and my home in bright, beautiful splashes of color and know that Judy’s gorgeous prints can add just the right touch to our home.
I’m bold and brave because I joined the US Army and shot Expert on my M16A2 Rifle! That’s right baby!
Yeah! That’s my wife!!!

I made phone calls to perfect strangers. It seems minor but I really hate cold calling anyone–even people in the service industry! I have to psyche myself up for it but I’m really glad I did and had some minor issues taken care of!
I’M BOLD! But I can’t think of anything especially brave that I’ve done =/
I moved internationally to a country where I knew no one (and still live here, 4 years later :) ).
I’M BOLD! I love bold fonts, I love bold colors (I’m wearing yellow flats as I type this!) and I try and live my life in a bold matter so that all of this fun I’m having is something to remember :)

I just interviewed for crazy competitive nursing schools. Scary!
I’m bold! Before I met my now husband, I flew to California from Ohio to meet someone I had previously only talked to by phone/email. Crazy and totally not me, but we learned we weren’t for each other and we were able to move on! I’m way happier now than I would have been had I stayed with him. :)
I painted my dining room black. Like black BLACK! And it looks fabulous! Everyone loves it! (As do I!)
I was on vacation in Wales a few years ago, and we were having drinks in this pub. And one of the older gentlemen who plays darts there (and who,in hindsight, had probably been drinking!) wanted to show off his dart throwing skills. The girl next to me chickened out, but I told him go for it. He aimed, and threw the dart, which thudded into the wood floor right next to my foot. He outlined my foot with darts.
It’s one of my favorite vacation stories ever.
Probably the boldest thing I’ve done was quitting my job, packing everything into a trunk, and moving into the woods to become a raft guide, this past summer. It changed my life, and it was something that normally I wouldn’t have done, but I just did it, no hesitation and haven’t looked back since!
I’m BOLD :) Boldest move ever….skydiving in high school. Was scary crazy fun!
The boldest thing I’ve done was to take a national volunteer position for a whole year. The money is, of course, dismal, but the work I’m doing is so inspiring that it doesn’t even matter.
