Talk to me! OH, I have winter squared away: I’m going to redo my master bathroom with beadboard, a new vanity, new flooring and new fixtures. This will force me to work on my master bedroom too! The fall is all about paint: painting the den, kitchen, entryway, foyer, hallway, staircase and upstairs hallway of the new house. Yay!

We’ve got a huge to-do list, but right up near the top is painting the first floor of our house. We finally settled on a paint color after nearly two years and a dozen swatches! The winner – Behr Mineral. It’s the perfect greige. We also need to finish the bare wood on our staircase and dining table, put up a new railing, and replace the kitchen sink. Eventually we’ll be renovating two bathrooms – the downstairs one is going to be our “test case,” then we’ll do the upstairs.

Fall plans include buying a house! Yesterday we put in an offer to buy a bank owned property. I feel like i might pee my pants or throw up I’m so nervous waiting for an answer. The house needs lots of work so the fall /winter to-do list will include items like re-roofing, installed trim, deconstructing a huge rotten deck. Hopefully some fun decorating tasks like painting the bathroom will happen too!
