Fab Freebie: Something Fishy

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – see who won below!***

Our random winner of a full house window cleaning is… Christy U (who would also love to outsource getting her car detailed this spring cleaning season). Congrats!

Spring means lots of things: sunshine, flowers, and – oh yeah – cleaning. I don’t mind some forms of cleaning, but I won’t pretend that I like washing windows. Luckily (well, lucky for one of you) the window-lovin’ people at Fish Window Cleaning are gonna help you ring in the season with a full house window cleaning! That means the inside and outside of all of your windows & windowsills (they’ll even remove and clean your screens). Basically, the works. And in case you don’t live in an area of the country that they serve (or you live somewhere like a highrise), they’ll hook you up with a $500 AmEx gift card to bring some clean into your life in another way.

Fish Window Cleaning Giveaway

  • PRIZE: A full house window cleaning from Fish Window Cleaning or a $500 AmEx gift card if you live outside of their service area or reside in a building out of their scope.
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “FISH ME” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … if you could outsource any cleaning duty this spring, what would it be? I’d totally pick windows, but maybe you’d love to hand vacuuming, car-washing, or the dreaded cleaning-out-the-refrigerator to someone else?
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: This giveaway is available worldwide! Note: Fish Window Cleaning only serves areas within the 48 continental United States. For all other areas, the $500 AmEx gift card would be the prize.
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, March 27th or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner(s) will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winners. Good luck…

FISH ME! Windows, definitely! The old owners put on nasty storm windows that get stuck open and now just trap dirt and leaves and bugs. Ack!

I would cheerfully use $500 for indoor cleaning, though our outside windows need it too! It has been a rough month around here and I’ve been kind of hoping for a cleaning service to arrive!

FISH ME! Window cleaning is absolutely my most dreaded chore because of the number of windows to clean and the height of most of the windows! I avoid climbing ladders if I can, and, with window cleaning, it can’t be avoided.

I would have to say the YARD! It’s not a big one, but I live in town on a busy street, so there’s always lots of litter found when the snow melts.

I think window cleaning has got to be the worst of the worst. I’m a regular cleaner as it is so I’m ok with most of the usual stuff. Maybe gutter cleaning is up there as another pretty awful chore. :)

FISH ME! I most dread cleaning my windows. I have divided light windows (the grilles are NOT removable) and they take FOREVER to wash! In addition, there is one window that I cannot access to clean the outside. It’s filthy! A professional window cleaning would be forever appreciated!

FISH ME! My family home was built in 1800 and has a dirt floor basement with 10 foot ceilings that has been slowly accumulating junk for the past 13 years that we’ve lived there. We’re planning on selling the house ASAP to find something a little easier to take care of so 13 years worth of junk has to get out of there soon! It’s going to be a long project! We found barrels full of dishes that was wrapped in newspapers from the 70s that my parents have been moving with them all over the country for years without unpacking them! Maybe American Pickers can come help. Or Hoarders…

FISH ME! I need someone to clean out my basement. I swear, I’m not a hoarder, but it looks like it down there between all of the cast-off baby stuff waiting for a rummage sale and boxes that are still unpacked from our move (that was nearly 4 years ago, so obviously we don’t really need that stuff, right?).

When the weather gets nice I just want to go outside and ignore the inside of my house so really I need someone to do all the cleaning. Having the windows done might make the whole house looks better though, even if it is a bit grimy.
