Fab Freebie: Pick Your (P)age

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – see who won below!***

First off, thanks for all of the birthday wishes everyone. Second, random.org has selected our winner as… Lee (who just turned 31 and is so far happy with it). That’s good news for us too, since we’re both staring down at 31 now. Congrats Lee!

Guess what today is? Sherry’s 30th birthday! And to celebrate, Crate & Barrel is gonna give one of you a Benjamin to spend for every decade that Sherry’s been alive (that’s $300 in case your math skills are in a post-lunch slump). And that’s not the only thing Crate & Barrel is giving away these days. They’re also in the midst of their Pick Your Page sweepstakes where one winner will score all of the items featured in any spread from their new Spring catalog. That could earn you up to $15,000 worth of crate-y, barrel-y goodness! So feel free to pop over there to get in on that giveaway too.

Crate Barrel Pick Your Page

  • PRIZE: A $300 gift card to Crate & Barrel
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “AGE ME” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … if you could pick your age, what would you magically like to return to (or travel to the future for)? Would you love to be 11 again? Or would you give anything to relive your early 20s? Maybe you just can’t wait to settle into a relaxing retired life in your 60s or 70s?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, March 21st at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of Crate & Barrel.

    Age me!

I wouldn’t mind being a kid again- spending all day in the woods building forts and climbing apple trees on our 7 acres of NH apple orchard was great. My mom would ring an old ferry bell to bring us home for dinner. And we spent summers climbing around and getting soaked on the barnacly rocks in Maine collecting crabs, starfish and sea urchins.

I’d like to move ahead to my 60s. I hope by then that I’ll be self-assured and have raised loving, independent children. Then the hubby and I can spend our retirement enjoying our time together instead of worrying about every little thing!

AGE ME!!! – I would love to be 23 again. I was living on my own with my first full-time job in Boston having the best time! I didn’t make much money but really had no responsibilities other than my monthly rent and car payment – both seem like pocketchange looking back now…

AGE ME! While it would be fun to be young and carefree there are so many stages I wouldn’t want to live through again. I’d make some changes along the way, but I’ve got a good life right where I am and I don’t think I’d like to change it.

AGE ME! I would love to be 15 again! High school was so tough and awkward for me. I would love to have a second chance. I’d be way more outgoing and get to know more people, to make lasting friendships. I was too self-conscious back then to make real relationships, so now I barely have any connections to high school friends. I’d also make better use of my time, and get better grades. I slacked off too much when I was a teenager! Plus 15 is still young enough that you really don’t have too many responsibilities yet – because why would you want those, lol?!

AGE ME!!! For just an afternoon I would love to be the same age as my almost 5 year old daughter. It would be fun to hang out with her and see things from her perspective. Other that that, I am 30 and I feel the best I ever have in m life. I would not want to be any younger!

I could have made some decisions in my ’20’s that would have put me on a better path, career wise, but then I would never have met the man I love, so I don’t think it would be worth it. I do think I would like to redo the last year, though.
