Lisa brings a certain DIY spirit to her necklaces, bracelets, earrings, and other body bling – hand cutting, polishing, and assembling each piece carefully for that “made with love” feeling. She actually helped us celebrate V-day last year by giving away $100 gift cards to two winners – and this year she’s raising the stakes and giving away THREE benjamins worth of her meaningful designs to three random lucky winners. I celebrated vale tines day with my beautiful husband. It was our first as a married couple so I did spoil him a fair bit by giving him chocolates, a new shirt, a book he has been wanting. He in turn organized for our son to be babysat and then took me to a beautiful restaurant near our home for dinner.

I celebrated today with 100 of my favorite teenagers (I teach high school) and then this evening with my sweetheart. He surprised me at work with flowers (much to my students delight), made me dinner, and totally lavished me with gifts.
