Lisa brings a certain DIY spirit to her necklaces, bracelets, earrings, and other body bling – hand cutting, polishing, and assembling each piece carefully for that “made with love” feeling. Happy Valentine’s Day!! My husband and I don’t really celebrate Valentine’s Day…instead we tend to celebrate it as a “Remember When” day of all the things we’ve done in life- together and individually- and look towards the things we’re super excited for in the future. We’d rather surprise each other with silly little notes on the mirror throughout the year than have a boring ‘ole holiday the we’re expected to do something sweet. We like the unexpected better! So my ‘remember when’ for today is : I remember the first gift my husband gave me in 1996. I had just moved into the house behind his. He must have liked me a lot because he gave me his ball of multicolored tacky that he kept to put posters on the wall. So thoughtful, haha.
