Lisa brings a certain DIY spirit to her necklaces, bracelets, earrings, and other body bling – hand cutting, polishing, and assembling each piece carefully for that “made with love” feeling. Happy Valentine’s Day!
We always have a family Valentines. All the family members get two slips of paper for each family member (we have four kiddos) and writes what they love about person or what makes that person loveable. They do not sign them. They are mixed into a bowl. j
Then we have 3 course fondue…oil (meat w/dips), cheese (w/bread & apples) and chocolate (w/bananas and strawberries.) If your item falls off your spear then you have to sing a song. And while we are doing all of this, we pass the bowl around and read the love notes. (Ex: “I love *** because he always makes me laugh.”) Then *** gets to keep the love note and the bowl gets passed to the next person at the table until all the notes have been read aloud.
We do this every year and it is a big deal and a special fun way to celebrate our family and how unique everyone is.
