HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!
I will be working tonight, as I usually do on this holiday. I don’t have anything against the concept of it, I just think that too many people (women in particular) make too much out of it. I prefer consistent, everyday gestures of kindness, love, and conisderation over a once a year “show” of it. Plus, the traffic and crowds tonight make me cringe.

Today is also my 30th birthday, and my hubby baked me a cake last night while I was sleeping, my co-workers gave me sweet and thoughtful gifts, my sister sung a hilarious song on my answering machine, and my kids and sooo excited, just cuz it’s my b-day (and they get cake).
