Lisa brings a certain DIY spirit to her necklaces, bracelets, earrings, and other body bling – hand cutting, polishing, and assembling each piece carefully for that “made with love” feeling. We’re pretty low-key when it comes to valentine’s day, so I’m making dinner as usual and then (you’ll appreciate this!) we’re going to pick out curtain rods for the nursery that is slowly coming together! Oh, and later tonight we’ll be watching the new episode of American Pickers, probably in bed.

Happy Valentines Day! I’m celebrating with antibiotics, Mucinex, the couch and the remote as I try to get rid of bronchitis.
My husband and I do not celebrate Valentines Day. We do little things for each other all year long, but not today. We don’t feel the need to spend money on cards/chocolates/flowers out of guilt and peer pressure from mass media.
