Fab Freebie: Oooh, Shiny!

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – scroll down to see who won!***

Thanks to V-Day, we’re straying from our usual home improvement & decor related prizes in favor of some customized and sentimental jewelry from Lisa Leonard Designs. Lisa brings a certain DIY spirit to her necklaces, bracelets, earrings, and other body bling – hand cutting, polishing, and assembling each piece carefully for that “made with love” feeling. She actually helped us celebrate V-day last year by giving away $100 gift cards to two winners – and this year she’s raising the stakes and giving away THREE benjamins worth of her meaningful designs to three random lucky winners. Happy Valentine’s Day indeed.

Lisa Leonard Giveaway

  • PRIZE: An $100 gift card towards any purchase at Lisa Leonard Designs.
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY!” and…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … tell us how (and with whom) you’re celebrating today. Something romantic with your true love? A quiet evening in with a good book and some hot cocoa? A romantic night with your kitty or pooch? Feel free to comment with “Crappy Valentine’s Day!” and tell us why this holiday just ain’t your cup of tea if that’s the case.
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, February 16th at 8pm EST
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: Three
  • PRIZE SHIPS: Anywhere in the world!
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winners will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday morning for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

******************************

Random.org has selected three people to dish out some bling to and they are… Megan (whose husband made her pizza for V-Day), Tera (who was spending the evening at a concert with her husband) and Kyle (who was doing dinner with her husband… after doing some laundry first). Congrats ladies!

Note: We weren’t paid or perk’d for hosting this giveaway, we just like rewarding our lovely readers! See our Giveaway FAQs page for more info. Pics from Lisa Leonard Designs.

Happy Valentine’s Day! I’m celebrating with my husband by “reverse dating.” Last night we ate at the restaurant our rehearsal dinner was at (our last date before being married) and this morning we had coffee together (our first date).

My husband has class today/tonight so we had to rearrange when we were going to celebrate Valentine’s Day.

Happy Valentine’s Day. We went to an awesome marriage conference this weekend. Also, we’re doing a clean diet thing (after 4 weeks, we finish this Friday!) so we are getting creative and making super healthy stuff. Plus the weather is gorgeous, so we’re grilling fish on a maple plank with artichoke pesto, asparagus and I made sugar free rice pudding. But I’m really, truly, looking forward to the chocolate I get to have on Friday.

    HAPPY Valentines Day!!!

May sound awkward but I will be clebrating with my once fiance. We have recently mended our differences and have decided that we can do this if we put our minds, hearts and love to to make it work. Above all though, we hand over our hearts to God.

    HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!!!

This is my first year celebrating as a married woman. However, my husband had to pull a 24 hour shift today. Worse, his schedule has him pulling a 24 hour shift every third day, and three days from today is my birthday, so he’ll be working that day too.

However, he’s a great man who is planning something big for my V-day/birthday celebration. I don’t know exactly what it is, but I do know he was checking out prices for train tickets to bring my mother here for the weekend. He’s got something big planned, and I am content to wait.

Happy Valentine’s Day! I’ll be celebrating with my husband and two kids (and two dogs) at home with dinner and a movie. We had big plans that didn’t pan out and the day has kinda gone that route too. Did you know that by 5th grade they don’t do Valentine’s in school anymore? My daughter left the house this morning saying “worst Valentine’s Day EVER”, the dogs ate little brothers V-day candy while we were out and about this morning, and the list just goes on!
