We have a four-month-old, so we just remembered this morning that today was Valentine’s Day, and said “Happy Valentine’s Day” to each other while brushing our teeth, ha. Love is: spending your valentine’s day 4875 miles away from each other .. but also together. While my boyfriend is in Seattle and I am in The Netherlands, we celebrated V-day through Skype. I logged in at 06.00 AM my time, when it was 09.00 PM where he is. Thanks to the great technology these days we were able to have a romantic breakfast/dinner together and watch a movie. Even though the long-distance (for almost three years) is super hard, it’s these little moments that make it all so worth it! Soon it will be over and we can be together full-time :)
