Wow. You guys are a lot more opinionated about the periodic table than I had assumed. Anyways, random.org selected the winner of this giveaway as… Andi W. (who likes Sodium for all of the salty snacks it provides, but admitted “My inner nerd wants to vote adamantium.”) Congrats Andi!

    Mg ME!

    My favorite element on the periodic table is Pu (Plutonium).

    Why? Because I am a HUGE fan of Back To The Future. We all know that the DeLorean was powered with a flux capacitor using 1.21 gigawatts of electricity & PLUTONIUM!

    My favorite element on the periodic table is O or Oxygen cause I think breathing is awesome! It is keeping me alive right now!!

    Mg m! Favorite element on the periodic table, W : Tungsten, because it provides the filaments that provide the super bright light lamps used in theatrical instruments. and light is my favorite medium…

    Mg ME! I’m going to go with Au, because I remember watching Natalie on the Facts of Life help Tootie learn the periodic chart. Her mnemonic device for remembering gold was too funny. “A U, get back here with my gold watch!”

    My favorite is the made up element “unobtainium” that was in the movie Avatar :o). Is that really the BEST name they could think of?

    Mg ME!

    I’d have to say Iron, because it’s one of the few I remember off the top of my head. Our teacher told us a story of an iron poodle named Fe Fe to help us remember. I guess it worked.
